I [redacted] of the Shaw's Center Brockton I will like to say what [redacted] is asking does not make any sense . I did everything and more to make his sons event really successful first I will like to say I gave him a free room also gave him a stage for free . But other then that the prices...

I charge for polyester table covers are 11.99ea and for plastic 3.99 ea and what he had on his contract before was plastic table cover so I went over contract with him and let him no that and he said he wanted polyester so that's when the price went up for the lien. For the clean up deposit he wanted refunded back he did not clean up hall back the way it should had been cleaned . Also everyone was suppose to be out the building by 12 and everyone did not leave the building to 12:42. For the police detail that's the charge for the police detail with Shaw's Center admin fee . Also he had his son leave a review on google that States wrong information also because his son came to me at the end of the night and thank me how I help him out with everything and made his event successful also son was going around the school saying how successful his event was. On top of that [redacted] had a 18 birthday party for his son an he charged kids 5 dollars to come in and all the kids that came was not invited , then he also did a raffle that I was not aware of and charged for that(not sure of that charge ) . Also when [redacted] left the building he pop balloons out side and left them on Shaw's Center property and throws Ice sculpture by one of the neighbors yard and on Shaw's Center property .Please see all attachments

This rebuttal complaint should have been added to the reply of the business on 10-19-2017. I respectfully submit a reply to the business [redacted], of The Shaw’s Center located in Brockton Massachusetts, that my request makes perfect sense for the following reasons: After allot of verbal conversation back & forth with [redacted] & witness of mine, you offered the 3rd room if nothing was book, (of which no additional function was booked)I could have settled with banquet Hall 1 & 2 as contract listed and of which I made full payment for.  I have copies of ALL the contracts you have.  It’s unfortunate that a family member of yours (sister maybe)with whom is no longer working at the Shaw’s Center for some unbeknownst reason(s), quoted me the wrong price for a clear picture illustrating I presented August 3rd 2017 (on original contract drafting date) .My request was for table cloth linen, and regardless, that price should had still been honored from the Shaw’s Center. It is UNREALISTIC to rent two Banquet Halls for four hours, have an event with over 200 Family & friends and be cleaned up and out the door by 12 midnight.That would either mean shut down 1 hour earlier and be cheated out of 1 hour or start cleaning at 11:20pm as I did and party stopswhile patrons start leaving at out 11:40 & out by 12 which is accurate.  All family & friends were out of the building by 12 midnight and of course the remaining people in the buildingwere paid employees of mine who assisted in cleaning up and also needed transportation home safely, (Notarized witness statements available) also due to the facts of not having any help fromShaw’s Center Staff. Again no proper disclosure in and around Police detail fee that reflects Police detail/Admin fee together. Contract does not state any disclosure saying Police Detail + Admin fee . I did not mention my son in the original complaint # [redacted], and this birthday Party/Passage to adulthood leaves my son the right to freedom of speech of which I was unaware of since we don’tLive together (if you need to know). The event was not successful due to you, it was successful due to my 27 years’ experience in the Entertainment industry 1) proper staff, 2) paid detail, 3) paid front door security4)paid personal indoor & outdoor security by me, 5)Invited students & singers & family. Indeed, I charged family and friends which holds no bearing at all. The unsuccessful raffle all of which you where verbally aware ofAgain had no bearing on this event, and baskets ended up being handed out, even to one of your staff members Your video camera does show me taking out balloons, but what it doesn’t show is the students with whom were awaiting a ride home asked for them, I don’t find your photo a major issue.Again our verbal conversation about the perishable ice sculpture was discussed and video does indicate me rolling it out and into the City street curb to melt.  The street curb is City property not neighborProperty and the ice is perishable melting material. I will not continue to go back and forth with the GM of The Shaw’s Center, but continue my reimbursement request as listed with reaching out to Attorney General Office, filing a 93A demand letter, reach out to the channel 7 I-teamFollowed buy my freedom of speech on [redacted] [redacted]
