Manager, Julio is Extremely DishonestJulio scheduled our furniture for delivery on December 21 and assured us it was in stock so we will receive it. One day before the delivery, he called and said only one of the items were in stock. We asked him to cancel the order because he couldn’t explain why he thought it was in stock when it wasn’t. He said he would. He didn’t cancel it as it was still charged to our credit card. He said he would take care of it right away, he didn’t. Another manager had to take care of it when we noticed it was not cancelled. He’s extremely dishonest. A poor representation of the company.

An awful customer experience - please rethink before purchasing anything from this merchantPLEASE DO NOT shop at The Show Place Furniture Gallery in Farmingdale, NY (on route 110). Supporting small businesses is very important to me, which was the main reason for choosing this particular store to purchase a new couch in October 2020 p. Today is July 1, 2021, and the sofa we bought is nowhere in sight! Yes, you read that right! 9 months ago! At the time of the purchase, the sales associate stated that, due to Covid, the delivery period would be somewhere between 12-14 weeks. Again, we are in July and we have received nothing! I have called every month like clockwork for a status update, and it is has been the same excuse time after time: "there is a delay... but it will be delivered next month...". They have outright refused to refund our money, and we are at our wits end! Their reviews online are horrendous, and, according to what I read, cheating their customers out of their money is their M.O. This has been happening well before Covid. Meaning, there is no delay related to Covid. It is unbelievable how the store has managed to get away with this behavior and still be in business.Aside from the fact that I have been robbed, the store managers are very rude and have failed to show any type of empathy. My goal today was to avoid anyone else from having to go through this. A formal complaint is on file with the BBB, but I honestly do not think it will rectify a thing.
