Hello Revdex.com, my name is KenI know you receive a lot of complaints about different businesses but I truly believe the employees of this place are genuinely scamming people who are visiting the San Antonio, TX area and nothing is being done about it
First off, let me say that this place also goes by two other names: Slice of Antonio's and Slice of Angelo'sI'll get to that later
My girlfriend and I where visiting San Antonio from Austin on a recent vacation to get away from my jobWe stayed two nights at a Holiday Inn Express (El Paso St, San Antonio, TX 78204) near the famous RiverwalkOn the first night a couple of flyers were slipped under our hotel door"A SLICE OF ANTONIO'S AWARD WINNING PIZZA" it saidAward winning? GreatLet's try it
My girlfriend called the pizza place and the man on the phone was very rudeHe told us that the pizza would be 45-minutesSounds enoughThe only catch is that he couldn't deliver it to our room, we'd have to meet him in the lobbyThat was a little weird at first but we went down and met him
Upon arrival, the man comes into the lobby right by the door, barely entering, tosses us our pizza and runs outIt happened so fast it felt like a drug dealHe barrels out of the area
We go upstairs and open the pizzaWe ordered sausage with onions and pineappleNo big dealUntil we tried itFirst off, it was lukewarmNot even hotSince I worked at a hand-tossed pizza place for awhile, I also noticed that the frozen sausage pieces were RANCID and the dough was undercookedIt tasted expired and old
My girlfriend calls the place and asks to speak to a managerWe are told he would "be back tomorrow after 4pm"OkayWe ask to speak to someone in charge"There is nobody in charge here, I'm just a line cook"Then they hang up on us
We call back
"I was just hung up on and like to speak to somebody in charge about my pizzaThe sausage tastes rancid and it's cold to boot!"
"Do you want to make you another one?"
"NoI'd like my money back."
"Sorry, only a manager can do refunds."
"Where is the manager?"
"He's in a different state nowWe're all the manager here! He might not be back for THREE YEARS (laughter in background)."

We call back the next day and they laugh at us againWe have not received our money back, and ended up ordering from a different pizza place that nightLooking at multiple reviews online from Google and Yelp, we weren't the only visitors to the area which they have laughed at and refused to give back moneyThey think they are invincible!
So we called our hotel explaining the situation about the business and it's flyersThe lady at the front desk tells us that THEY AREN'T EVEN ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING and they SNEAK IN and slip the flyers underneath doors in hotels ACROSS SAN ANTONIO going by different names on each one spouting their "award winning pizza" and that you must meet them in the lobby each time
They also told us that they have called the police on them multiple times for trespassingThey think they are invincible
Look, I could leave a Yelp review, but I don't think that it would do anything to discourage their behaviorI am writing to the Revdex.com in hopes that someone, ANYONE, do something about this tiny pizza shop just giving tourists the runaround and profiting over practices that literally break the law
