The homeowner who filed complaint # ***, purchased his/her home in November Snyder Homes Incprovides for a two year warranty period at the time of purchase and the homeowner received a copy of this warranty agreement when he/she closed on the purchase of the home.Snyder Homes, Inc
was not contacted by this homeowner until February 2015, regarding the issue in questionThis first contact from the homeowner was over nine years past the warranty expiration date.Snyder Homes, Incinformed the homeowner that had we been given an opportunity first to inspect the issue, prior to hiring an outside contractor to perform work, even though the homeowner had no warranty coverage, Snyder Homes, Incwould have still met with the homeowner.Due to the homeowner’s failure to provide Snyder Homes, Incwith adequate notice to examine the situation prior to making repairs, while simultaneously demanding payment for repair work Snyder Homes never authorized or inspected, falls outside the warranty agreement which expired over years ago

We currently are still investigating another leakI informed my service manager that I will comp most of the expensesAs soon as my service manager has done all he could to resolve this he will call Mr*** with the final bill

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments below. Since I submitted complaint #*** it has been brought to my attention that several other homeowners have had vent issues and have had to have them fixedWe are currently conducting a survey of the remaining carriage homes to see how many other homes are affected. We will then take the necessary action against Snyder homes. I take issue with the fact that Snyder refused to pay the damages incurredThe problem occurred in the middle of winter with much snow on the rooftops and since homeowners had to have their roofs replaced after only years, I feared that that was my issue and could not wait and had a contractor fixingwhat turned out to be a vent problem the very next dayThe insulation was wet ,I had a gaping hole in my ceiling and it continued to snowThis problem could not wait Respectfully, *** *** Respectfully, *** *** my problem the very next day

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is UNsatisfactory to me.
The original 10/04/2017 complaint was for motor oil leak brought in by my wife.  I informed Honda Auto nation over the phone (due to my wife not being mechanically inclined) that I wanted the repairs to correct the leak. I explained to the service person I wanted the van back NOT leaking since the price quoted me was ~$1500.  I explained to the service person I wanted the engine steamed cleaned or cleaned. To ensure that the van was not leaking ANY oil on return (I mentioned this several times).  I was not interested in a quick return but a thorough inspection. Honda Auto Nation service person informed me that the trans-axles were leaking when it was brought in for a motor oil leak. I authorized the aftermarket seals to be used. No mention of whole axles.Dated 10/03/2017Line item E. – I gave authorization over the phone for aftermarket axel seals.Line Item G. - Valve cover gaskets. I gave authorization.Line Item H. – I gave authorization. According to my wife’s input about driving.Line Item I. – I gave authorization. According to my wife’s input about driving. Dated 11/20/2017I brought back the van back to the dealer after my wife discovered the van loosing motor oil (still) and leaking after 2 weeks.  I brought the van that the van was still leaking after paying ~$1500 for the original issues.  Honda Auto Nation informed me over the phone that an addition $600 for work.  Honda’s hand written notes in Line Item B states that “Cust. does not want to be charged $312.50 for the axle seals labor…”.  The service manager and team discounted the amount from $600.  That work should have been completed on 10/04/2017.   Dated 11/25/2017Car was returned 11/22/2017. Due to Thanksgiving holiday the van is still leaking 2 days returned from Honda’s Auto Nation service department.  I brought a rubber car mat with motor oil on it to show it was NOT transmission oil.  I was informed that the vehicle leaked when vehicle was under a load.  They had test drove the van ~12 miles prior to me getting it back. I received a worst case scenario of $1000 for an engine main seal.Line Item A. Customer still has oil leakI’m getting too many excuses about the vehicle’s mileage and age.  On its 2nd and now 3rd trip to an ASE certified Honda service department for an original issue of a motor oil leak. I was offended that Honda Auto Nation wanted to return my vehicle not repaired as per the original 10/04/2017 issue motor oil leak.Let’s be clear. I’m not asking nor have I asked for a complete refund of the all work that had been done 10/04/2017 to 11/25/2017; however, I am stating that this 3rd trip to the Honda Auto Nation service department should NOT bill me for more service/labor and parts for the original oil and that the leak issue be corrected. Since I’ve already expense the money to have it corrected. Still awaiting the final quote/price.Regards, [redacted]

To Whom it May Concern: We have contacted the customer, Mr [redacted] and settled the issue with their Tahoe. The original complaint stated they received a title from us stating the vehicle they bought was salvaged. We contacted the state because our vehicle history had nothing reported about being...

salvaged and including the title we received from the original customer that traded in the Tahoe. After contacting the State of Texas they did indeed make a mistake and apologized. We then picked up the customer's title and had the state re-issue a new non-salvaged title.
