Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2015/12/29) */
To whom it may concern,

I. [redacted] have received a letter from The Revdex.com, in regards to a complaint filed against me and my Business (The SodFather Landscaping and Construction Services).
[redacted] at...

address [redacted] in the city of San Jacinto Ca, XXXXX has filed a complaint stating I have ruined her irrigation and damaged wires to her timer. She has reached out and expressed her feelings that I was un-professional and did not want to repair any damages that I may have caused. I was contracted to install Water run off drains to her backyard to keep water puddles from standing, and to flow/drain to curb cores into street. In the construction process of drain installs, we came across (2) 3/4 inch irrigation pipes that were in the way of the drain trench. We professionally re-directed them and after I personally called Ms [redacted] to view and approve the re-directed pipe and show it was all operating the same. After our install of drains, I had Ms [redacted] come out back where drains were installed and we did a test run to make sure the drains were properly installed and functioning as described what the purpose of the drains were put in for. We also Manually turned on sprinkler valves as her wish, to assure there were no leaks and everything was working fine with the irrigation. She expressed her happiness with me and said Thank you so much and would later refer me to neighbors and asked for more of my Business cards to pass [redacted] As the contract attachments show, Ms [redacted] was happy and signed the contract as we completed the job. (4) days later I recieved a call from Ms [redacted], asking if I would nicely come out to her property at [redacted] to check her irrigation timer cause she was having problems. Her exact words were " you are the professional, and im sure you can figure out whats going on there not firing my vales in the front and back yard". I replied back with of course I can, il be out tomorrow and take a look. So as promised, I went to her property and met with Ms [redacted] and checked her timer and noticed the date, time, and watering schedules were off. As I mentioned that to her, is when she got upset and said HOW!! If I never touched it. Thats when I did a trouble shoot on the timer and valve solenoids, and they were were activating as they should. Front yard watering all stations which were (2) stations in total both fired. As we went to the back valves, all stations fired, but (2) which was valve #1 and valve #6 that did not fire. Valve #2-3-4-5 activated and worked properly . The reason being valve #1 and valve #6 did not pop on is she had both valves piggy backed and trying to run over 15 pop ups to water at the same time. I had expressed to her she may have burned out the solenoid and cause faulty activation and stress to valves from low pressure. She than got upset and said they have been like that since she has moved in and they always worked with the wiring the same as I showed her what I saw. I than said irrigation issues happen and the may have worked for awhile, but finally went out, but not to worry they can easily be repaired. She than said she finds it hard that all of a sudden the timer is not activating the back valves and when we manually turned them on they worked ok until we did work. I showed her that when I did a manual test run she can hear and see the valves are trying to activate. She got really upset and said ok whatever just fix them, I then told her I would have to charge her and would be out the next day to repair them. Thats when she said, how can you charge me if you should fix them for free since I gave you a job, and I told her I would give her a discount and only charge her for material and dismiss labor cost. She got mad and said don't worry about it, I have another guy coming to look at them. I than said ok, just let me know. The next day she called me and said the guy she had take a look at the irrigation said I had damged the wire. She knew that was not accurate and true due to seeing timer was working fine and valves were trying to activate #1 and #6. I told her again the wiring is fine or else none of the valves will fire , not just the (2) that were wrongfully installed. She starting disrespecting me calling me names and saying I was unprofessional and I damged her irrigation cause I wouldnt fix them for free. She got more mad when I told her in the contract it never said I had to make any irrigation repairs if needed for free, niether did I give you any warranty, so im sorry I have to charge. Thats when She got even more mad and cussed at me again , so I hung up on her cause I was not going to allow her to cuss at me. She than called back and said she appologized and was just upset. She wanted me just to fix them and would pay and she wanted everything to be ok and over with. I than said ok I understand, il be out tomorrow. And she said ok. 3 hrs later I receive a text saying. Don't come near my property and she did not want to deal with unprofessionals and was going to sue me and not give me another penny, cause I was not worth it and my bogus so called business is a lie and im a joke. I than replied ok and Thank you. I only replied in that manner cause I knew I had nothing to hide, and did not want to throw fuel in the fire. I hope The Revdex.com finds this as a client being upset and was trying to seek and wish revenge by reaching out and making false accusations on me. I tried my best to be professional and polite, but Ms [redacted] was not having it. In the contract it shows she signed and it was stamped COMPLETED with her signature next to it and dated. For any reason if there was damages to her property and issues, we would have came acrossed them when we had our final walk and she would have not paid me in full if anything was notice in damages.I did not avoid her calls, and I communicated as much as she allowed me to. I do not want problems with Ms [redacted] and wish she can find it True and Fact that I did not ruin her irrigation, and I was only charging for the repairs to her irrigation to insure my business and I DID NOT damage anything and NEVER wish it would have come to this. If I had damaged anything to her property, I would have gladly repaired them at no cost. Ms [redacted] should know that as I installed (1) free drain for her at no cost, and fixed (3) sprinklers for her at no cost. If there is anything more you may need please reach out to me at anytime to resolve this issue. I apologize for such a long description, but wanted to get through the proper channels to prove I an honest. I thank you for taking the time to read my part.
