The Sound Surgeon, Inc. Reviews (2)

Review: I bought a pair of brand new Beyerdynamic T50p headphones off E-bay around January of 2015 and 8 months later the cord shorted out on me. I never got a receipt to honor the warranty so I end up having to pay cash for the repair. I went to the beyerdynamic website and they listed The Sound Surgeon as the authorized warranty and service specialist for the product. I downloaded a repair form and waited until I got some spare cash to get them fixed. Just recently I sent the headphones to The Sound Surgeon via [redacted] and I don't think there a authorized service provider anymore. I tried to contact them via e-mail and I never got any response. I thought it was because of the Holidays but then I finally tried to call the non- toll free listing on there website and the number doesn't even work. My major issue with them is why are they still posting Beyerdynamic repair forms on the website if they don't no longer do repairs for Beyerdynamic . I could have avoided sending those headphones all together if the Sound Surgeon just returned e-mails, had a toll free number, or just updated it's website. Worst case scenario the owner could have a voice mail informing possible customers of this essential information. At this point I just want the guy to send my stuff back and update his website.Desired Settlement: At this point I just want the guy to send my stuff back and update his website.

Review: I placed an order with this company on February [redacted] for a specific pair of drumsticks (that are hard to find), that appeared on The Sound Surgeon's website. I ordered 3 pairs with the intention of them being a gift to a professional drummer. I gave it a few days to allow processing...the funds were deducted from my checking account (I paid using my debit), but no eta for shipping. Fe. [redacted] I tried to contact the company, and the number listed is non-working. I then sent an email....no reply. I gave it more time....yesterday 02/**/2016, I tried calling again...still a bad number. I emailed....requesting information on the product as well as eta (seeing that I've paid for a product that I don't have), and still have the intention to give it to the drummer, however, he leaves next month for tour. Mute point to continue with the order if it isn't available. I have since found a pair locally, and would like either an eta on what I already purchased or a refund, but I can't reach anyone. If the item was out-of-stock, that should have been indicated, and I would have never given my business in the first place.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome are the sticks I've already purchased within 14 days, or a refund, please.
