The Spa at Chelsea Park Reviews (4)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I did not request, nor was it my desired settlement amount, the $ that number was the answer to the question of what my costs were....my out of pocket expense, for the incident I did state I was hoping the business, owner and stylist would compensate financially for the physical pain, and mild scar I have Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com spoke to Debra at business and the following was relayed: We would like to resolve the complaint by agreeing to refund the customer the $she has requestedWe would request that the customer stop posting comments and reviews online about our business and the situationThe refund in full would resolve the situation for both parties

The following is a response in regards to customer complaint ID # ***I received a copy of the complaint from the Revdex.com on Tuesday 10/17/I was unaware that there was an accidental burn on Wednesday 9/20/that involved the client until I received the letter from the
Revdex.comI did have to ultimately ask the client to please leave Adam alone and find another place to take her business because of a disturbance she was causing at the SpaOn Thursday 9/21/the stylist came to me and was very upset and told me that he was being "harassed" by the client and that he needed to block her from his cell phoneThe stylist said he had told the client that he would no longer be able to do her services because she was ultimately never satisfied with his workThe client continuously called and sent texts to the stylist telling him how much she loved him, and his work but needed additional clean upThis was what she always did, wanting additional clean upsA few weeks prior the client shorted the stylist $out of $service when she handed him folded dollar billsAdam had to contact her and ask her to come back and pay himHe almost retired her then feeling that what she did was no accident but on purposeThe stylist also stated that she made him feel so uncomfortable with her inappropriate behavior that he was afraid to be alone with her in the salonAfter the stylist blocked the client from his phone she started calling the main number over and over trying to reach Adam who was busy with clientsWe were all busy, Thursdays are our busiest day of the week and this was very disruptiveThe receptionist on duty was so upset she put the client on hold and asked me to speak with her at which point I asked the client to leave Adam alone and please take her business elsewhereWhen I received the copy of the complaint I sat down with the stylist and asked if there was an incident involving a burn on Wednesday 9/20/The stylist said yes and stated that when the incident occurred he immediately provided the client an ice pack, apologized profusely, and made sure she was okayThe client reassured the stylist that she was okay and that she was happy with the serviceHe stated that there was no visible mark from the burn and that the customer paid for her service, included a gratuity, and left the salon happyI asked him why he hadn't reported the burn to me and he said it wasn't an issueApparently it only became an issue with the client after the stylist said he no longer wanted to provide her servicesIt is not my place to dictate who the stylists in the salon chose as clientsThe stylists are not my employees they are booth renters and are free to run their business as they see fitHowever it is my expectation that all service providers handle their business with the utmost professionalism with the safety and well being of the clients top priorityIt is also important as a business owner that I provide a safe work environment for all employees and service providers free of any prejudices, harassment, mental or physical harmI have provided screen shots of text correspondence between stylist and client for your reviewDebra Clothier Adam M. ###-###-#### ###-###-####

I did not request, nor was it my desired settlement amount,  the $65.00...  that number was the answer to the question of what my costs were....my out of pocket expense, for the incident.  I did state I was hoping the business, owner and stylist would compensate financially for the physical pain, and mild scar I have.
