Clup (TSC) is a nonprofit PA organization which provides low cost medical care for cats and dogs in the Greater Philadelphia area, in effort to eliminate pet euthanasia. All of our funding for these promotions is raised by volunteers by fundraising events and grant writing. TSC was fortunate enough to receive grant funding to offer free spay/neuter and vaccinations to residents of Upper Darby from September 2015 through December 2015. There was a bus shelter advertisement of this at the [redacted] Station, at State Road & West Chester Pike. The advertisement is no longer there. According to [redacted], from whom the advertisement was purchased, the advertisement was removed the first week of January 2016.
According to his statement, the client's first contact with TSC was 1/29/16. At that time, the free promotion was completed, but we did have funding to provide for female eats during the month of February 2016 to receive an exam, a spay Surgery, overnight stay, pain med, rabies and distemper vaccines for $20. At area vets, these services are normally an average price of $280. The client did schedule his cat's app on 2/3/16, and paid the $20.
TSC regrets that we do not have funding to provide entirely free care to all pets who come to our clinic.
The client has been refunded his $20.
Please contact me if needed.
Sincerely,
Donna D[redacted], Clinic Director
