Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10675359, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. It's amazing what I had to do to get them to drop this erroneous bill. Yes, I SAW the doctor but only long enough for me to realize that he wasn't the doctor I told them I wanted to see. The only reason they dropped it is because I posted a terrible, and accurate, YELP review of their business. And if you were to look them up on yelp you would see I'm not the only one who had a terrible experience with them. They are terrible!

Review: In November of 2013 I called this medical center because I noticed that they had an internist on staff and I was having some health challenges that I wanted to see an internist about. When I called to make the appointment, I asked them to book me an appointment with 'the internist' as I didn't remember his name. The gal I talked to gave me his name and I asked, "And he's the internist, right?" She said, "yes."Either they called to confirm before the appointment on 11/15/13 or I called them to confirm and I asked again to make sure the doctor I was about to see was an internist. They said yes.The day of the appointment, I walked in to check in and asked again, "Now this is the internist right?" and she said, "Yes." I guess I knew in my gut they didn't have a clue. They took my debit card to handle the deductible. So they bring me in, weigh me, take my blood pressure and then put me in a room. The doctor comes in and we start to chat a bit and I can tell he is NOT an internist. I asked him and he said he was a family practice doctor. At this point, I'm beyond a little annoyed to say the least. I explain to the doctor that I didn't want to see a family medicine doctor and what I had gone through to ensure that I was seeing the internist. I told him that I would not be paying for the visit and that my card better not be charged. He walked me to the front and explained to the front desk what had happened and I walked out frustrated, having wasted my time on several occasions. They did not charge my card for the deductible BUT did this instead. They billed my insurance company who reduced the supposed new patient office visit from $600!!! to $150 and they keep trying to collect the $150 from me.I have called them a total of 4 times now. Three times I left a message and no one returned my call. The fourth time, about 2 months ago, I finally got a person and explained the whole thing to the man. He said he'd 'handle' it.I got another bill today (3/13/15) so decided to let the local community know who they are dealing with. It was illegal for them to bill my insurance company when I never actually had a visit with the doctor AND I don't owe them a cent.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop billing me.
