To Whom It May Concern:This letter is in response to complaint [redacted] from [redacted] ***.Spokane Comedy Club is a DBA of BARK Entertainment LLC, a licensed business inthe State of Washington; members are Adam N [redacted] , Renee F*, and KevinF*.At Spokane Comedy Club, we provide food and beverage service during stand upcomedy showsWe have two levels of seating, General Admission and PremiumOurPremium seats are several rows around the stage and we typically sell those for $10more per ticketWe fly in professional performers each weekendWhen we bookperformers we enter into contracts, which we have to adhere to.We had originally booked an entertainer, Piff the Magic Dragon, to perform at theSpokane Comedy Club on April 6-8, 2017, and we entered into contract in OctoberWhen we were putting the show on the web site, our booker contacted theagent to clarify that there were VIP tickets per show and that those VIP ticketsgot the Private Party for only $over General Admission (not counting service fee).On March 27, the performer had to reschedule and a new contract was sentout for the performance dates of August 10-12, Both contracts ticket pricingwere identical. The contract states how many tickets are General Admission and the price, and howmany are VIP/Premium and the priceAs a club, we are contractually bound tocharge the customer what the contract states.A few days before the actual show, the manager contacted us saying that the pricingwas incorrectWe stated it was the contract pricing and that we even verified withthe agent.Apparently, there was a miscommunication between Piff’s manager and Piff’s agent. The way that the contract should have been was pricing levels, which included GATickets, VIP/Premium Tickets, and an option to add on the Piff Private Party for anadditional $on top of the ticket prices.Spokane Comedy Club at no time misread a contract, or was not complying with acontractThe agent reissued a new contract with different prices, and the managerrequested that we change the prices immediatelyWe had ZERO choice onincreasing the priceWe were contractually obligated to do itSo, we had to contact each of the customers that had purchased the Premium tickets. There were options:A) Pay the $differenceB) We could bump them down to General Admission and refund them $10per ticketC) They could cancel their tickets all togetherWe also offered every person free tickets to a future show, which is a $value, aspart of our apologyIf people refused options A and B, then we had to cancel theirtickets.90% of customers understood and were completely fineWe had only a handful ofcomplaints. We have been providing entertainment for over years, and this is the FIRST timethis has ever happened to us, and it was NOT our errorWe had no choice but tofollow the contract and change the price.Sincerely,Renee F*[email protected] Entertainment, LLCMarket StTacoma, WA 98407See attachments:Contract Ticket Pricing for April 6-8, 2017, received October 13, Email confirmation on VIP Ticket Pricing, sent December 15, Contract Ticket Pricing for August 11-13, 2017, received March 09, Revised Contract Ticket Pricing for August 11-13, 2017, received August 09,2017Other Contact for Questions:Piff the Magic Dragon’s Agent:MATT F [redacted] AT CAA MANAGEMENTEmail: [redacted] ***SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REDACTED BY Revdex.com***
