The Spotlight Childcare & Preschool

I just experienced the worst child care I have ever witnessed. Spotlight Child care in Clarksville, TN is absolutely horrible! I have 2 daughters and they both attended this daycare for a total of about 2.5 weeks. My oldest is 6 and I didn't run into any issues with her. I am a service member and so is my wife. My wife left for training last week hence why we enrolled the children into daycare since my wife has been a stay at home mom. My 1 year old has been having issues adjusting to the changes and has been overwhelmed by Mom not being around so she has been a little extra fussy. I get a call this morning from Spotlight explaining to me they are discontinuing my daughter's services(my 1 year old) because she hasn't "adjusted fast enough" and is "too fussy". Never have I heard of a childcare facility discontinue a child's care because of being too fussy. There were a handful of days I went in to pick my girls up and my 1 year old would be screaming receiving no attention for an employee. Each day I could sense the frustration coming from the manager and employees regarding ***. On the 10th of March I received a phone call stating I had to come pick up my 1 year old because she got so worked up and fussy she actually threw up! I'm a firm believer my children were not getting the proper care in which I was paying for. I do believe they discontinued the services out of frustration. I didn't get a warning or anything about this. Mind you I'm a single parent right now with limited options especially last minute. When I was asked if my oldest would be returning â?ªthis afternoonâ?¬ after school I said absolutely not! The manager look at me and shrugged and said okay like it didn't even phase her! I withdrew both of them without hesitation and will seek other options. I paid for them to look after the safety and welfare of my children, but clearly that didn't happen. Not to mention everyday when I picked my 1 year old up she was filthy! Like crawling on a dirty floor all day! This is no child care service!
