Front reception is a joke! We drove from Texas to check in only to find out we selected the incorrect dates through Orbitz (our mistake)An older woman and younger man then told us they can still book us in for the correct datesWe had a pending amount through Orbitz due to the booking of the hotel already..However, he ends up swiping our credit card and doesn't even tell us how much we are being charged or tell us our total before swipingWe found out until after he had already swiped that it was another total of over $without our permissionThe older lady was condescending and any question we had she would ask "what's the problem" with an attitudeWe kept asking why are they charging that price and they said they will match with the previous booking we selected (with the incorrect dates) but that total included a rental carWe told him that it was including a car and he didn't seem to careWe then looked on orbitz and realized we can just book the hotel for less than $and we asked if we can just rebook it at that price and cancel whatever transaction he authorized without our permissionHe said he understands but no because it's OrbitzWhat does that have to do with it? I have no idea but this was a horrible experience not only did they use a credit card without us authorizing it but they also didn't want us to rebook at a lower rateOnce we asked to cancel the booking we ended up booking another hotel and got better service here last minute than we did at this placeI will never suggest itHorrible first experience in Hot Springs
