Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [redacted] is correct in pointing out my confusion on having the entire car repaintedIf you review my complaint however, you will see that this information is irrelevant to its nature It seems to me, as time has passes I continually find the haste in his work Upon picking my car up from [redacted] on 3/19/2014, I proceeded to drive directly homeWaiting an hour or so for the rain to subside, I went back outside to review the work done on my vehicleStill damp and cloudy outside, all things were not evidentAt that time, I did notice my license plate had not been put back on and I contacted [redacted] who informed me to check and see if it were in my trunkThis is an example of the haste of the work done on my AccordThe license plate was in my trunk and upon reinstalling, I noticed the drips around the plate mount (picture shown in initial complaint) It wasn’t until the next day when the sun was out was I fully able to thoroughly check my carI found a few scratches in the new paint, and I found what appeared to be a white powdery substance in several areas of my carThis substance was caked in corners and creases, as well as on many of my rubber and plastic trim piecesThat afternoon, 3/20/2014, I stopped in to [redacted] ’s to address the situation At that time, I did not address much more than the few scratches I had found as [redacted] had a very relaxed attitude with my concerns and proceeded to tell me about buffing the rest of the vehicle for more moneyI no longer expressed any further concern to him as I felt at a loss for wordsI then went to my parents, upset about the situation and asked my father to walk my car with me and go talk to [redacted] himself I personally have little knowledge of body work and my father possessing slightly more knowledgeable in this area, this seemed like the appropriate thing to doMy father did inspect my Accord with me agreed, my concerns were validHim and I then made a list of the concerns to bring up to [redacted] On 3/21/14, when my parents approached [redacted] with said list of concerns he proceeded to follow with the same solution of buffing my entire car and that it did not need to be repainted, and that for additional money it would look good as newAt that time, my parents called me at work and asked how I felt about the situationI told them he will not be getting any additional money from me and they could just leave it alone I would file a complaint with Revdex.com On Saturday, 3/22/14, realizing that [redacted] would not be fixing the mistakes and being the only day I had time, I spent six hours cleaning the exterior of my vehicleAs it turns out, the white powdery substance on the surface of my vehicle stained my rubber and plastic trimsAfter trying every method of cleaning I could think of, my trim still looks as it does in that pictureWhile some spots did lighten, some did not at allAttached, you will find a picture illustrating the damages on my trimShown in that picture is my sunroof, located on the roof of my car which was clearly painted by [redacted] On the very same day, upon hand washing my car, I washed over the passenger side mirror (also painted by [redacted] ) and it fell offThe plastic cover he painted on the back of the mirror, has little brackets that hold it to the mirror itselfThose brackets are now broken off, leaving a very loose and unstable mirror cover to fall off at any time What is failed to be addressed, is that I am no longer interested in having my entire vehicle painted nor am I confused about why [redacted] did top surfaces onlyWhat I am concerned about is what the nature of the work he did do, looks likeI do not want to take my car back to this man to fix anything he has done, as I feel it should have never left his in that condition in the first placeIf the tag was put back on my vehicle, the white substance cleaned from the cracks, the drips and scratches non-existent and the mirror properly intact I would gladly say that he has done a good job on my vehicleOn the contrary, I have had to clean these things up myself the best that I canIt is to my belief, that when [redacted] returned my car to me, he did not anticipate me to take note to such subtle thingsI also feel that [redacted] finds no fault in the work he provided and instead would like to steer me in the direction of future workTo me, that attitude beside the work that was provided, is the very reason I do not trust this man to fix these mistakes and I no longer wish to deal with him
