Unfortunately, Scott is incorrect in his statements He never sent us a refund check He knows he never sent a refund check He has provided no proof such check was sent What Scott left out was his rude, and inappropriate response to our email He also failed to mention that he never answered his emails, which is why I sent more emails He also failed to mention that he never answered his phone calls or the messages we left him.He has continues to speak derogatory towards me, he continues to defame my character I am a decorated [redacted] veteran I have the highest integrity For Scott to infer that I would hold his check to retrieve what he owes me is ludicrous and unfortunateI will do everything in my power to ensure that every Veteran and person in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania knows how [redacted] and Scott conduct themselves professionally.Had Scott really sent a check he would have a way to track it As with any financial institution, he can easily cancel his "previous" check He continues to twist the truth and facts to fit his narrative He needs to issue a refund check, send it with a tracking number It has been days since our Wedding and he has caused a great emotional stress on us.How sad to see a business treat Veterans this way! toward my company and myselfThe docket number is :***The grievance that he listed is toward the *** *** Food truckThe Strawberry House Family Restaurant does not own the Food Trucks that he has listedHow can there be a grievance toward my restaurant? I do work with the *** *** Food Trucks but in a totally different companyI did speak with *** *** on March via email about catering his wedding on SeptI proposed a menu and price for his event and they rejected our proposalHe then contacted me via email a week or so later about catering their rehearsal dinnerHe had mentioned about doing the same type of foods that we had proposed for the weddingWe accepted this jobWe made up a contract with a non-refundable deposit of $in it to save the date and book this eventWhen we received the deposit we booked the date and I contacted*** *** to inform him that we had received the deposit and we had him booked for the rehearsal dinner on Sept15, He continued to email me times up until SeptThe weekend of Septis our biggest weekend of the year, as I explained to *** ***He kept emailing me with questions abouthis event making sure that we were still comingI was exhausted and very busy and emailed him back to tell him that we have a contract and yes, we will be there and I was super busy and can't always answer my emails promptlyHe responded pretty direct about not answering his emails in a timely fashionI did respond and answered his questions and reassured him again that we will be thereI told me that he wasn't comfortable having us cater his eventSo, I told him that if he wanted to find somebody else to do it that would be fine with meHe then sent me a text stating that they wanted to end our contractSo, we acceptedI sent *** *** a check #*** on October 24, *** *** claims that he never received this checkAs of right now the check was never cashed yetHe is demanding another checkI am not sure if he is just holding this check to make trouble with me or notBut he seems that he wants to cause troubleI have no problem returning the $back for the money he put toward the foodWhich I have been trying to do soHowever I do have a problem with returning the $deposit back for booking the dateWe turned down other jobs that date so we could cater *** ***’s eventPlease find attached a copy of the contract and other emails that I included stating messages between *** *** and myselfPlease let me know if there is anything else I can doThanks,*** *** Scott T***
