This company helped me a great deal and I got exactly what I paid for. I am stunned to see a low rating like this and can only attribute it to people that did not end up getting the payments as low as they wanted, which this company can only do so much.

The Student loan center helped me get into an Income Based Repayment program, and I am on a $0.00 monthly payment plan, The Department Of Education sends me a notice every month, and my loans are on track to be forgiven, after paying a processing fee, it took 4 months to fully enroll me, but I only had to wait for the Department of Education to contact me, they did, my loans had all been consolidated and placed directly wit the DOE. I was skeptical at first but everything has ended up being exactly what I was told. The paperwork took a long time, but entering a government program isn't ever going to be super simple, all of my calls have also always been returned.

Review: I contacted Student Load Help, because I wanted to consolidate my student loans and lower my interest rates. Over the course of the past 5 months, from August 2014 through December 2014, I made monthly payments that were directly debited in the amount of $299.83. I recently received a phone call stating that my loans were in default, I checked the national website, and none of the money that was paid was applied to my outstanding loans. When I called SLA, I was told that I had insufficient funds, which was 100% inaccurate, because I have proof that the funds were taken out of my account. I was told that my bank had to call them to prove it , and that they would refund the money. It's blatantly obvious that this company is a fraud, because banks do not make calls such as that. I have proof from my bank statements that the money was taken. The only question remaining…is what happened to my money, which totaled $1500 dollars. I want my money refunded, and I think that the Revdex.com should investigate this company as a fraud. Several people have made the same complaint. They've had 32 complaints just on this site alone.Desired Settlement: I want my money back, so that I can fulfill my student loan obligation.
