Love the Studio! Great staff, beautiful location, terrific experience!
Review: I scheduled a hair cut, color and straightening appointment with a stylist named [redacted]. Salon asked for a $100 deposit so gave my debit card info. Called 48 hours in advance to ask to reschedule with another stylist who is a higher level of professional and also advertising a $100 off coupon. They refused to reschedule me or honor the coupon with the original stylist, and they are not willing to refund my deposit. My dispute is that they cast the deposit on June 30, which was more than a week in advance before the scheduled appointment. Can they charge for a service they did not provide? They do not have a written policy on their website and they did not advise them of this wonderful conversation.Desired Settlement: I would like my hundred dollar deposit refunded please. I do not believe they should have charged the hundred dollars in advance of the appointment, or at least Have honored my request to schedule with another stylist or to honor the coupon with another stylist. Thank you.

In review of all the facts and being closed for the Holiday weekend this is my conclusion. Yes, we do charge a deposit for services that are in excess of $175.00, the card is ran and a deposit is then placed on the client's service file. The salon places the amount on the client file and destroys the information in order to protect the client. I have spoken to the guest and resolved the issue, the appointment was made on the 30th of June, with the salon being closed a message was left to cancel, we apologize for any miss-communication we had. The Studio has policies to encourage the guest to honor scheduled time that has been saved for them, we require you to secure your appointment with a credit card deposit. In conclusion, we have honored our guest with a full refund due to the miscommunication and holiday weekend.
