Dear Sir/Madam:
On August 11, I filed a complaint against 'The Suburban Group' for faulty Stucco work and failure to correct over a six month period. The complaint went through the initial time frame without response and was at the end of the 'grace' period when they notified they would be out in three weeks. Approximately three and a half weeks after the notification they showed up unannounced and initiated the repair by organizing scaffolding. it was in place for a long time but nonetheless the job was finished today, I am aware of this because the scaffolding has been taken away
I believe that because I contacted the Revdex.com is the only reason the job was corrected. Thank You for your time and effort. This is the first time that I have ever tried this format and again I say Thank You. So put *** down as successful
Thanks

To whom it may concern,
My apologies in the delayed response to the enclosed complaint.
We are dealing with a sudden death in the family and have been shut down for the better part of the summer. We intend to address *** ***s Chimney within the next to
3 weeks, and completely restore the stucco work to perfect condition. There seems to have been a faulty batch of mortar used to apply the base coat, which couple with the absence of wire caused the chimney stucco to fail. We will complete the process and restore it within days of startingWe apologize for the long delay, but unforeseen events have caused this delay. we apologize to *** *** for any trouble this has caused him
Regards, Paul

Review: In December of 2012 the Suburban Chimney Company completed work, as agreed upon, on the chimney on the east side of the house. The work was completed and the payment of $1500 was paid along with the $500 charge for the painting of the chimney on the west side of the house. The complaint is sighting the work completed on the east side only. Fourteen months after the work the stucco that was used on the chimney started to fall from the chimney in large 'slabs'. Shortly thereafter I notified SCC and explained the situation to the company (possibly Paul). I was told that they would be out to check the chimney. After a couple of weeks with no call from SCC I repeated my call and was given the same information, they would be out to check the chimney. I have repeated the call several times, once I was told they had not been out because of 'Family Emergency', another time is how busy they have been and they would be out that week, no show. I called several times after that and SCC was no longer answering my calls but would allow the call to go to voice mail. In the many calls I made I received one call on my cell phone. I was not aware of their call and actually made a call to SCC. This phone call was answered and they advised me they had checked out the chimney. They agreed that it was in need of repair and it was in fact losing the stucco in large pieces, and stated that they were good for their word, this was the third week of June. I was told they would be out the second or third week of July. In the fourth week of July I again called, the call was answered and I was told that the work was scheduled for the next Wednesday. I foolishly took them at their word, my wife stayed home from work to receive them only to have SCC not show up. SCC no longer answers my calls, they do not respond to any of my voicemails, and I do not believe that I must continually call, be ignored and not have SCC live up to their word. (There are pictures available for your review). In a final phone call I asked if they were not going to do the work to at least have the "guts" to let me know. No response.Desired Settlement: The entire work needs to be redone in proper fashion. Pieces that have not fallen will be falling in the near future. If SCC does not want to make good on their work then I expect a $1500 refund.
