Complaint ID # [redacted] Thank you for notifying us of the complaint submitted by [redacted].  Our mission is to delight our consumers with quality products so we diligently review all consumer complaints to resolve as expeditiously as possible.   [redacted] first contacted us is...

on June 21st to report damage to some items that were washed using all [redacted].  As per our process, we requested [redacted] send pictures of the damage to the clothes.  We received three pictures total.  Two pictures of towels were sent on June 21st and one picture of a pair of jeans on June 22nd.  On June 22nd, we set up a call back time for June 23rd at 1 pm EST.  We reached out to [redacted] on June 23rd as requested and left a message.  On June 26th, we sent an e-mail to [redacted] to set up another time to speak.  We spoke to [redacted] on June 26th 1:28 pm EST.  We asked her to walk us through a typical wash process from start to finish.  During the conversation, [redacted] acknowledge the towels were old.  As the conversation moved to the jeans, she claimed that the jeans had no holes or damage other than fading after being washed and prior to being placed into the dryer. We attempted to explain that the damage we see from the photos is not the type of damage that has ever been seen from the extensive testing of these [redacted]   [redacted] grew upset and ended the phone call.    We are sorry that [redacted] suffered a disappointing laundry experience.  All of our formulations are extensively tested and qualified when developed and before they leave our manufacturing facilities. We understand that if there is insufficient water due the machine settings or if the packet is placed on top of the clothes, there is a risk that the [redacted] may not dissolve completely.  Thus, the residue of the packet may stick to the laundry. To remove this residue, a consumer would need to rewash the items.  This residue could not create a hole without force being applied and in the case of the jeans belonging to [redacted], the amount of residue potentially from a single [redacted] could not be spread so widely.  From our testing and the photos supplied, we reached a conclusion that the damage suffered could not have been caused by the [redacted] detergent.   As a good will gesture, we would like to offer [redacted] a refund for the cost of the product ($8).    I hope this information is helpful.  Please let us know if you have any additional question.
