Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/22) */
We would certainly like to investigate this matter further and make it right. If the consumer would be so kind as to provide us with the Date of Visit, name of server if available, total dollar amount of guest check, area of the restaurant that...

they were seated in, what form of payment was given that visit. We would certainly appreciate it so that we can follow up on this matter. Thank you very much.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/06/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I very much appreciate the company's willingness to look into the matter. I was at the restaurant on June 11, 2015 and my invoice shows a time of 5:21 p.m. The server listed was Brian and the Cashier was Brandon. Table 109/1 for $33.15. Although I wasn't happy with the service, etc. I did leave the server a $4.00 tip before I found out I had been overcharged for the happy hour appetizers but after we had been kept waiting on the fries and refills as the waiter claimed the kitchen was to blame for the delay even though I did see the waiter standing around about 25 ft from us with his back to us talking to friends or other servers. There were only approx. 10 people in the entire restaurant area at the time, so I am unsure how the kitchen didn't get the order right, and think the waiter threw the kitchen under the table to save face. I don't blame the waiter for being overcharged, but the cashier Brandon, had a positively antagonistic attitude that was difficult to deal with. Getting a food-borne illness after eating the chicken wings only made the experience worse, and with the comments by the wait staff about the kitchen I am not sure whether the chicken was tainted or left out, but I was ill for 2 days after eating here. Thank you so much for looking into the matter, and I sincerely appreciate your efforts on my behalf.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 17, 2015/07/27) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I would like a full refund because I reported the issues to the attendant at the time we visited the restaurant. I got nothing but attitude from the host/cashier. This response is indicative of the hostile, aggressive, arrogant, unprofessional and rude attitude of the restaurant personnel when I spoke to them in person. No, I won't be back here EVER. This was my first visit and my LAST visit. I can't believe you would treat any customer this way. What a bunch of arrogant jerks. I reported the food-borne illness right away via email to my local health inspector. It is not my job to follow up with them. Furthermore, when I accepted the response, it was because you stated you would follow up with me personally, which, of course, you never did, nor did you every intend to do. That is why I reopened the case. Anyone reading this complaint can see you have no regard or respect for your customers whatsoever, which in this case is particularly distasteful given that we were first-time visitors. We were overcharged, our service was poor, the food made me ill. Who the hell are you to tell me you would refund my $$$ and tell me I'm not welcome to come back. Only a classless jerk would treat a senior citizen in this manner. Wait until my friends at AARP hear about this. If you have any common decency at all, you will apologize for your unprofessional and quite frankly, disturbingly discriminatory response, and send the refund to [redacted], St. Paul, MN 55117. Oh, and I'll tell my senior friends your restaurant does not like people over 50! We'll all go to Culver's instead where they treat you with respect.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 19, 2015/07/30) */
Thank you for the address. I would like to point out that I, too, am an AARP member, and at NO POINT in ANY of your correspondence was your age mentioned. I am replying based on your notes, NOT based on your age. You will receive a refund check via certified mail. You were NOT overcharged, I have a copy of your bill and an order of fries that you received and consumed was removed from your bill while you were here. The chicken wings were regular priced in the dining area, they are discounted in the bar. If you had requested to be seated in the bar area we would have honored the happy hour pricing. Plain and simple. It's a shame you have to resort to calling us names like you are. We are simply trying to rectify this situation and will be sending you a full refund. Good day.
