The Surgical Clinic of Central Arkansas

Last week, I had an Umbilical Hernia Repair performed on me by DrGreg EI must say, I'm very thankful he was my surgeonHe- along with the anesthesiologists at Baptist, did everything possible to put my mind at easeI was impressed with DrE.' bedside manner and felt confident in his careHe's easy to talk to, down to earth but responds with professionalism and respectI recommenld DrEto anyone who gets anxious easily over the thought of minor surgery
Unfortunately, I rate the Clinic a "3" because of the Clinic Staff...Aside from Katelyn, (who is very sweet) the staff needs to work on not being rude/ smart-butts over the phoneThey need to work on listening to patients and communicating when Drs go into surgery, instead of letting patients find out on their own after waiting over an hour to be called to see their Dr...Again, DrE.- great! Staff-not so muchI spoke with a supervisor today, of how nurse Terry, talked to me and my husband over the phoneShe was being a smart-butt and disregarded my husband

Today was my follappointmentI was not called back after waiting minutes to see my DrI understand specialty clinics aren't always on time but I was told multiple times "Someone is about to come to call you back," when no one else was in the waiting room! Then a woman came in and sat for only minsShe got called back before me! My husband and I had our kids with usPlease keep in mind, I'm Legally BlindI depend on my husband to take me placesThat said, we can't leaves our kids at homeKids get restless waiting in officesMy husband has TAKEN OFF WORK to get me to these appointments! One of the Chestaff kept justifying office actions and bringing her personal business with speciality clinics into itShe told me if I had a problem, to talk with my Dr's nurseMy husband and I went above that and talked to the nurse's supervisorThe supervisor apologized that WE were upset but didn't apologize for the experience we hadShe defended and took her staff's sideI have NEVER dealt with a clinic staff as rude, unprofessional, inconsiderate and entitled, as the staff at this clinicIts truly sad when you find an awesome surgeon but feel you can't go to your appointments because something negative is going to happen, you're treated poorly and YOU get blamed for having a voice! (My Patient Rights have been violated TWICE if not more, with not being seen in an appropriate timely manner and not being treated with respect and courtesy)I DO NOT recommend this clinic after today!
