Avoid this company at all costs, or you will live to regret it You might have a positive experience, but if so, it will be purely coincidental Their repair department pretends to do repairs, but in most cases they just open and reseal the case, and send you a bill I proved this with a marked movement that they allegedly changed out They even gave me a free watch, but it wasn't running when I got it, so I sent it back and they did another bogus repair It's a shame, they have made some really nice watches in the past, but you can never be safe doing business with a company that thinks it's okay to lie to its customers

This company operates Smart Bargains which actively encourages criminals who copy a credit number (such as when a card is presented to a salesperson or waiter) and illegally use the credit card number to order merchandise to be sent to an address other than the cardholder's address on file with the credit card company When the holder of the credit card finds out about the fraudulent charge, he or she is told by Smart Bargains that there is no security department and no one can look up the fraudulent charge and stop the shipment of merchandise to the criminal until the Customer Service Department, which is only open am to pm is open Smart Bargains displays on its website that it is a [redacted] affiliate [redacted] is a respected international e-commerce company In fact, Smart Bargains merely sells on a [redacted] websites, and [redacted] has no responsibility for Smart Bargains customer service or security for its customers Major credit card companies should refuse to do business with Smart Bargains until it establishes a security department open all hours of the day and also refuses to ship merchandise to an address which does not agree with address of the credit card owner These practices are followed by respectable companies that do not encourage criminal activity

From: ***@citizenwatch.com
As worldofwatches.com is not an authorized dealer of Citizen, a watch purchased from them will not be covered by our warranty and there will be no guarantee of authenticity

eWatches might be OK if you get the watch you ordered and it works, but if you are sent the wrong watch, if the watch is broken or if you have any reason to deal with customer service, forget it. This business is really sketchy.

I will share my story and you make the decision about buying for World Of watches. I just tried to purchase a Christmas Present for a family member and I noticed that I never received shipping info but there was an hold on my card for the amount. So I called and was on hold for 45 mins only for the agent to insist I put in the incorrect billing info. I told her I use my card everyday but needed to complete the order. The Agent insisted that I was wrong, I said bottom line I need the watch and I wanted to complete order. She Hung up on me. I never raised my voice and I was not going to accept her telling me the customer that I was incorrect. So bottom Line they are still holding the money on my card and the watch has not shipped and its the 22nd of dec. This is unacceptable "

Oh my god these people are horrible to deal with. I sent my Seiko in for a repair under the 5 year warranty because the watch started running 8 minutes fast per hour. After a month I got a response saying something along the lines of "thanks for sending your product in, please see the attached documents on how to pay for the repairs..." They attached the warranty document but made no mention of it. So I emailed them back asking why it wasn't covered under warranty. They came back saying it's only a 5 year warranty. Lets see if you people can do the math... it was bought on 12/10/2009 and they received the watch on 12/09/2014. Although that is REALLY close, it is still in the 5 year period. They came back with (Direct quote) "The proof of purchase you sent in, shows the purchase date as 12/10/2009. Please let me know if you would like to proceed with payment for repairs or wish to have your watch returned to you as-is." This was after I told them that I received confirmation that they received it on the 9th, THE DAY BEFORE THE WARRANTY ENDED.

WELL, I finally got a hold of someone at their call center and they said it wasn't covered under the warranty anyway because in order to repair the watch, they need to "overhaul" the watch completely, which is "more of a maintenance item". In the end I couldn't yell at them because they were just a call center and did not work for SWI. So I just sent another email to the same lady that's been handling the repair asking to send me clear documentation of how this is not a repair covered under warranty. It'll take her a week to get back though. That's the average time it has taken to respond. It all feels like BS so they won't have to fix it under warranty. If they won't repair it under warranty, I'm telling them to keep it and never buying their junk again. I know I shouldn't write this while so angry buuuuuut welllllll they suck.

Ordered an Invicta Bolt Reserve with black dial watch on 12/15/15 from ewatches also goes under the name World of watches. The order was processed promptly and the watch arrived on 12/22/15. The only problem is the watch that I was sent was the same model watch however, with a navy blue dial. Since the watch is a Christmas gift there's not time to return it and have the correct black dial model re sent as ordered. I'm sure this was just a shelf pull mistake due to holiday high order volume. I'll be gifting the blue dial bolt watch, never the less I would have appreciated receiving the black dial model I ordered.

The company has fantastic prices on Invicta watches. However, I'm not sure that I would purchase from them again due to lack of quality control and final inspection to insure the item (watch) ordered is the exact item being shipped out.

On March 12 I uploaded a review as my recently purchase watch had water inside.
I sent it for repair as it was under warranty. The watch came back 6 weeks later. I didn't like te fact it took so much, however, good, bad, or different, they did aware me that was their timeframe. Honeslty, they met their commitment, they repaired it within the 6 weeks. 3 weeks after, with daily usage, time is as accurate as the 1st day, I set the time using my cellphone and it still has exaclty the same time. I am happy with my watch

Their repair department pretends to do repairs, but in most cases they just open and reseal the case, and send you a bill. I proved this with a marked movement that they allegedly changed out. When the holder of the credit card finds out about the fraudulent charge, he or she is told by Smart Bargains that there is no security department and no one can look up the fraudulent charge and stop the shipment of merchandise to the criminal until the Customer Service Department, which is only open 9 am to 5 pm is open.
