The Taco Stand

Review: The Taco Stand is a Mexican restaurant that participated in a double take deal or double take offer. That is where the business puts in half the amount of money and the customer puts in the other half of the money. So I paid $7.50 and would get $15 worth of food at the Mexican restaurant...The Taco Stand. These double take offers are advertised in the clipper magazine that comes to our home and also advertised online. The promotional deal started on 4-14–2013 and expired on 10 –16–2013. Even though the deal had expired, the paperwork also states "paid value $7.50 expires on 4–14–2018". I have been working on either getting my product or getting a refund for approximately one year. I Have also talked with the double take offer personnel and they have told me it is a federal law and the owner of the taco stand, [redacted], must abide by that law, even though the deal had expired. It is called the federal gift card act...The C.A.R.D. Act of 2009.Desired Settlement: I want my $7.50 back...not any Mexican food
