Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Even though the owner has been considerate in giving back the money in a form of a gift card, it's still not back onto my card from which she charged me fromIm also quite offended and know for a fact that no one had told me there would be another payment for the month of AprilIn the owner's email all she said was "You're account has been cancelledYou may utilize your account until May 12, Thank you for your membership"Her response of "you think she would've asked why she could use her account after being cancelled" In her Revdex.com response is extremely offensive. In order to remedy her actions and lack of professionalism, it would be appropriate if she refunded me the amount of $back onto the card she originally took it from and formly apologized for her actions regarding the cancellation transaction and prior miscommunication issues that led up to me cancelling my account.Regards,

I received the gift card the Tanning Studio sent me through the mail. It has $59 on it. Nothing else was in the envelope except the gift card.Sincerely,[redacted]

I had already sent a gift card with a $59 value to this customer this morning prior to getting your letter. [redacted] filled out and signed the cancelation form, this form clearly states that it is a  30 day cancelation.   I emailed her and within the email said she was welcome to...

utilize her account until mid May.   You would have thought at that time she would have questioned why she could use her account, if she had not made a payment since she had not made a payment since January. Customer had frozen account for one month back in January,  we charged as usual in February and it came back as an  NSF for February , as well as March.  The April payment went thru.  The customer was on vacation and said even thought she signed the form, and checked the freeze for 30 day box that she did not understand. So we refunded the charge and applied $5 to the two prior months of February and March which is the charge fee.  We did not charge her for April freeze or charge her for the NSF fees. The customer then canceled her account mid April.     She talked with the manager of the store regarding the cancelation, the manager is who took the cancelation.  The manager called me after and said this is what the girl told me (that she shouldn’t have been charged)  and I was the one that canceled her and told her at the time she may have one last payment due.  We have over 700 memberships rarely do we have an issue as we did in the above scenario.  What we did for this customer: refund the payment from April, did not charge her any NSF or late fees as well as sent out a gift card for $59.  Since her freeze was technically for one month she would have owed:  $59 for February, $59 March, $59 for April, plus $20 late and nsf fees for February as well as March.  Which we waived all of and DID charge the $5 freeze fee for February and March as a courtesy as well as refunded the March payment that was taken in early April.   The April payment was the one refunded and put on a gift card for the customer and mailed.    Kindest Regards, [redacted]   [redacted]

Review: I went into the Tanning Studio in Schofield on April 12, 2015 and completed the 30 day cancellation form. During the completion of this form, I asked if I would be billed during the 30 days of cancellation. I was informed "wasn't sure" by the associate helping me fill out the form. They proceeded to tell me the owner would inform me about my question. I received an email from the owner on April 21, 2015 saying my account had been cancelled and that I had until May 12, 2015 to utilize it. The next day on April 22, 2015 the Tanning Studio pulled $59 from my bank account even after they had cancelled my account the day prior. I emailed the owner on April 29, 2015 after I had realized what had occured. I even called the Schofield Tanning Studio and spoke with the manager on duty and asked why this occured. She wasn't sure and directed me back to the owner. I asked the manager on duty to tell the owner to call me back. It is April 30 , 2015. I havent received an email reply nor a phone call confirming the owner knew of my situation or was willing to work out the situation of being billed after my account cancellation.Desired Settlement: Since my account was cancelled on April 21, 2015 and I was billed the day after my account was confirmed cancelled via email; I desire a full refund of the $59 billing that had occured on April 22, 2015.
