To set the record straight. This Client contacted our company to find out why their power screen wasn't working. They mentioned several other company's had been out and complained that they didn't have a clue. I had to totally uninstall the unit to remove the motor to check it out, and found it not...
receiving power or responding to programing. This is not a motor we use in our products – it had to be special ordered. If [redacted] will recall his tile person recommended some one in the Tr i-Cities and I said go for it – and they called again and ask if I would please do the replacement – I reluctantly agreed. This agreement was signed for on 10/27/16 which moved us into cold weather and the unit was quite old and the parts become brittle and could lead to more problems. I informed Mr [redacted] we would wait until it warmed in the spring. In Mr. [redacted]’s complaint he states I offered no other solution. Here is the other Solution He was offered “One other solution I will pick up the motor and remote and you can get one of those many people you mentioned to do the job” - no response! He was informed his connection was not up to WA State and Yakima City “code”. We are not licensed electricians and will at no time will cross that line. No signed agreement for the Electrician to bring it up to code - that was not our responsibility. I will accept [redacted] and [redacted]’s check of June 6th and Consider the account paid in full.
