In the past year and a half we have fixed his taillights about timesHim and many other customers who own these Saab 9-The car uses turn signals in the rearOne is done with a high intensity bulb that keeps burning up the bulb holdersAnd the second being an LED stripe inside the taillight that works even when the other bulb is outSo the customer still has a turn signal active on his carAnd the reason we can't fix the high intensity bulb at this time is because ORIO (the company that owns Saab parts) is in the process right now of looking for a new supplier to make the taillight assembliesI had told the customer last week that this was the case and once they locate a supplier and start to produce the taillights I could sell him one at a 20% discount and install it for freeAnd as far as the customer stating the vehicle is still under dealership warranty, We offer the customers an extended warranty from an outside company for sale at the time of vehicle purchaseThe taillight might even be covered under the extended warranty, but I won't have that answer till we get some taillightsWe are a Lotus dealership but we are a Saab Official Service CenterThe sale of Saabs is the same as we would sell a used car from any other brandDealerships for Saabs do not exist anymore since they have not made a new car for the US market since But we try and do our best to assist every customer to the best of our abilities, but unfortunately if there is no stock of a part it is out of our controlTrust me I would love to be able to help every customer but sometimes I just don't have that abilityIf you have any other questions please feel free to give me a call anytime here at?
