My interaction with Timeshare Group was quick, smooth and very professional. Any questions I have was responded quickly via email. I purchased a time share and was very surprised on quick I was able to get my deed transferred. Their timing was accurate as well in regards to the resort transfer. I just contacted Starwood and they already have my information in their system. Starwood confirmed my reservation for this year immediately followed with an email. I'm now going to look for other time share opportunities I can purchase from the Timeshare Group. Thank you for your service.
Review: I received a letter from [redacted] of The Timeshare Group.
The letter tells me that I'm recorded and registered, to a Summer Bay Resort.
I have purchased no such time share, and, while I believe my parents were interested at one time, that fell through, and was never completed.
They tell me I am liable for the property.
They tell me that they have tried to contact me by phone. My phone log shows no calls from that number, nor do I have any messages of any kind referring to The Timeshare Group.
Attempts to call the number listed have failed, and they want me to sign, and have my parents sign an notarize a document.Desired Settlement: This letter looks and sounds like a scam to scare me. They have never before tried to contact me, and I feel they only have my name and address because I am the one who lives closest to my parents.
It says something about corrective deed, and I have no record or knowledge of signing anything. If an audit caused a problem, I suspect perhaps my or my parents names were used by someone else, and it seems to me the problem is strictly an issue for Summer Bay resort and The Timeshare Group.

Response:
To whom it may concern;
It is obvious to us that Mr. [redacted] parents, the purchasers of this timeshare, never told their son that they made him a part owner. All we are trying to do is assist Mr. [redacted], by request of his parents, in divesting himself of this unwanted timeshare. If Mr. [redacted] desires that we discontinue our efforts to assist him we will certainly comply and no longer contact him.
In the meantime, according to the Summer Bay Resort, Mr. [redacted] and his parents are still the owners of this timeshare. This is can be seen by going to Lake County Florida's public records and placing a search using their names.
