pictures that our crew took the scratches are small and roughly 2 inches on 2 of the scratches and the third is about an inch long. We acknowledge that there is an estimate from [redacted] Flooring LLC for $1165. What the claim does not state is that the estimate is given with the flooring company sanding, refinishing, staining, and 3 coats of a premium water based finish for 204 square foot area at price of $765. The estimate also has $125 of labor to remove baseboards, $100 to remove and reset refrigerator, and $175 to provide and install new quarter round around cabinets. With all of these added together the total estimate came to $1165. This hardly seems appropriate for only 3 wood planks that need repaired. We would like to rectify the situation and come to an amicable agreement, but we will not pay to repair 204 square feet of flooring. We decided to offer $300 accommodation for the small scratches and feel this is more than appropriate for the issue. We regret and apologize that this happened during our delivery. We hope that we can reasonably come to an understanding to get this resolved.
