Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Well as I was told to leave and never offered anything but to leave the locationThis is funny you say that you don't work on ***'s when I have had tires put on by you all on the two rear tiresThis is all a bold statement knowing full well that the Rims were purchased from [redacted] for this carThey are put on the car just as the factory rims! I was also the one that told your crew that I could not drive the car after he broke the lug bolt! Also when I was standing there looking at him what he did was try and force the lug bolt in to the HUB of the carIt is my understanding that when putting on a rim is that you DON'T try and use one lug bolt to seat the rimIt is a gradual stepBy using all the lug's to seat the rim to the hub and tighten them down one by one so as not to break them! I have gotten flats on the side of the road and taken the tire off and put it back on and have never broke a lug bolt due to I don't try and use one lug bolt to put the whole rim in to place at one timeI tighten them down one but one until the tire and rim are back on the carSo as far as I can tell every thing you have said is a BOLD FACE LIE! and DID NOT HAPPEN IN THE WAY YOU ARE SAYING IT DID! I was never offered a tow to any place and if you don't work on ***'S or the RIMS they have and sell than you should put that on a sign and not even put tires on them and then try and LIE about it allAlso as far as the signs around the store What they do say is to tighten the lugs after miles of driving and that your not responsible for after ***et lug nutsThis is not the case with the tires or the rims! Regards, [redacted]

say is his complaint is NOT correct. He had specialty wheels on his [redacted] and they were very hard to put on his car. Like any auto mechanic job sometimes during installation older weaker bolts and nuts break . When that happens it has to be fixed or replaced . The expense is an extra charge and extra labor that is at the customer's expense. Mr. [redacted] was explained of the situation and showed his receipt and signs we have posted that explains any charges will be his responsibility . It is also printed on the bottom of his receipt that he signed. Because his car is a [redacted] , we do NOT work on them at our shop. He was informed to have his car towed to a shop that works on those cars. Mr. [redacted] refused to do that and drove his car away from our shop even though we told him it was not safe. After that happened Mr. [redacted] was at his own accord from that point on. We are no longer involved in his situation. Please  add out response to the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted] . Thanks The Tire DoctorPO Box 3093Tappahannock Va. 22560Case # [redacted]

Review: Called the tire company to see it they would repair the two flat tires on my Chevy Tahoe truck. I spoke with a man (believed to be the owner) and asked him if he would be able to fix them. He asked where the truck was located and I gave him the location of the vehicle. I specifically asked what would be the charge and he stated he wouldnt be able to give me a price until he evaluated the damage. He then came to the location of the truck and retrieved the tires and later came back requesting payment of $60. He never called us to give us the price of the repair of the tires and basically would not give me back my tires without being paid for work that was not authorized. When I called to talk to the gentleman who I spoke with earlier he acknowledged that yes they did not contact us to tell us the cost prior to repairing the tire. He also said that it was not a debatable issue and he was hanging up. He was not willing to talk about what the $60 was covering and about giving me a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $40. I have had my tire fixed(plugged) from them and the cost has been $10 per tire.
