please see below for our response to the complaint letter received from Revdex.com, dated Dec I have also mail a copy of this letter to the Revdex.com office in Halifax Dear Representative Revdex.com: This customer’s statement of the problem is accurate – he bought four rims on November 9, and at the time of purchasing he provided the wrong vehicle information and therefore did not receive the correct product for his vehicle Upon coming back to inform of us this problem, on November 18, The Tire Man was then sold out of the correct product he required Staff at The Tire Man informed the customer that the correct product could be ordered in for him, which his $credit could be used towards however there would be an additional $outstanding because the price of the correct product was more expensive based on the fact these would need to be ordered in direct from the vendor The customer did not want to opt for this option, so he was informed that as per the Terms & Conditions on his original receipt The Tire Man policy is exchange only within days on unused/unmounted product The customer called The Tire Man back, well over the day timeframe from when he originally purchased the rims, and The Tire Man still honored a full credit back Credits are to be used before calendar year end, which the customer was informed of upon discovering he had purchased the incorrect product The customer was verbally abusive to staff at The Tire Man, calling them stupid on a number of occasions, and then continued to harass the business by continuing to call the general phone line so much that business had to take action to block the call from coming through The Tire Man has a firm policy on returns/exchanges to which all customers are offered the same thing As explained to the customer, if the correct information would have been provided by the customer at the time of purchasing then this situation would have been easily resolved, however it was not until after the time of purchasing that the customer confirmed he had given the incorrect details of the purchase Thank you,

Dear Representative Revdex.com:

This customer’s statement of the problem is accurate – he bought four rims on...

November 9, and at the time of purchasing he provided the wrong vehicle information and therefore did not receive the correct product for his vehicle.  Upon coming back to inform of us this problem, on November 18, The Tire Man was then sold out of the correct product he required.   Staff at The Tire Man informed the customer that the correct product could be ordered in for him, which his $200 credit could be used towards however there would be an additional $50 outstanding because the price of the correct product was more expensive based on the fact these would need to be ordered in direct from the vendor.  The customer did not want to opt for this option, so he was informed that as per the Terms & Conditions on his original receipt The Tire Man policy is exchange only within 7 days on unused/unmounted product.

The customer called The Tire Man back, well over the 7 day timeframe from when he originally purchased the rims, and The Tire Man still honored a full credit back.   Credits are to be used before calendar year end, which the customer was informed of upon discovering he had purchased the incorrect product.

The customer was verbally abusive to staff at The Tire Man, calling them stupid on a number of occasions, and then continued to harass the business by continuing to call the general phone line so much that business had to take action to block the call from coming through.

The Tire Man has a firm policy on returns/exchanges to which all customers are offered the same thing.   As explained to the customer, if the correct information would have been provided by the customer at the time of purchasing then this situation would have been easily resolved, however it was not until after the time of purchasing that the customer confirmed he had given the incorrect details of the purchase.

Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because:I phoned when I realized I gave the wrong make of car I phoned and they said the rims would fit so I didn't go back to change them
