Brand new rims scratched beyond repair
I bought some tires from Amazon, and they shipped the tires to the Tire Warehouse in Williston, Vermont for installation.

I brought my car in to have the tires mounted, on brand new rims that I had bought just a few weeks earlier. The rims were already on my car, with tires mounted on them. I didn't care for those tires, which is why I was replacing them.

My appointment was scheduled for 10 am. I ended up waiting an HOUR before my car was even driven into the garage. After it was done, I drove to a local store, and noticed there were no valve caps on any of the wheels. I drove back to TW to get them.

After I got home, I inspected my rims, because I noticed some marks on them. EVERY SINGLE RIM had been scratched from the tire installation. I'm angry as hell about this gross negligence.

If you value your vehicle, DO NOT take it to Tire Warehouse!

First off, I want to make it clear a check has been cut in the amount of Three Hundred Fifty ($ 350.00) Dollars and mailed as of this morning December 16,th, To Mr*** @ *** *** *** *** *** Check # *** per *** *** *** *** ***Unfortunatly the
order did fall through the cracks with the manufacturer and to compound it further the Thanksgiving holiday and the deer hunting season all related to a slow down of this order, plus the fact it was a specialty size doorCertainly not intentionalIt was an error and something that I didn't forseeI did offer to put a temporary door in place at no extra charge till the proper one arrived, that was not acceptable to Mr***He made it very clear he wanted what he ordered, and he wanted it now. I told him the door was "suppose" to arrive on Monday December 22nd, and that I would put it in that day providing it was hereThe word "supposedly" was used regarding the delivery of Monday December 22nd, 2014, and that was not acceptble on his termsI then said to him I'm trying for you, but if you are uncomfortable with what I'm saying then I will return your depositAs far as the check being returned he stated to me he would be down Saturday morning to retrieve his deposit, that he had made a decision to go with some one elseI did call him on Saturday morning to let him know I would be out of the office from roughly 08:A.Mhours till about 09:A.Mhours and that I would be here until 11:A.MhoursThe reason I called him and left the message on his voice mail was so that he would not make a wasted tripNothing was never mentioned about mailing the check, it was understood he would stop down here Satruday December 13th, and pick up his depositI had to go to The *** Water Company where my employees were installing a door to make sure the work was being performed per required specificationsMonday, I was not availble the whole day, I was at The *** Hospital in *** ***, Connthe entire dayMy secrtary did report to me this morning stating that Mr*** did stop by yesterday (Monday) December 15th, and wanted the deposit mailed back to himThat process has been taken care ofAs stated the door is "supposedly" to arrive here on Monday December 22nd, I was unalble to cancel the order, so I will have it available in my inventoryRarely does a comedy of errors like this occur, I take this seriouslyI do extend an apology, which I had already verbalized to Mr***. We stand by our initial responseIt is a proven fact the Emergency brake was working in November of or it would not pass its annual New York State inspection. Thank you,Brian M***Tire Warehouse###-###-####

Since I am not seeking a refund, because money was not exchangedI suppose I would like an explanation as to why they tried to rip me offWhy they would try to take advantage of an older lady that way

First we wold like to refute any ridiculous claim we prey on women and seniorsWe have been
servicing the area for automotive and tie needs for years and have an outstanding reputation in the communityThat said, *** brought in her vehicle with miles on for an oil change and a courtesy check to review what was needed on the vehicle and see if anything would be needed in order to pass inspectionUpon completing the courtesy check we explained to her the vehicle had two torn wiper blades, the serpentine belt was worn and the nylon stitching showing, two of the struts were leaking fluid and one of her tires had a shifted beltWhen we explained what was recommended she became upset and declined the recommendationsOur objective is to keep customers vehicles in safe operating conditionIt is unfortunate who ever she claims inspected her vehicle overlooked the torn wiper blades, fraying serpentine belt and bad tire with shifted beltA technician passing an unsafe vehicle for an inspection is a violation and we are concerned someone would pass an unsafe vehicleThat is not doing the customer any justiceWe did nothing wrong by recommending needed work to a customer.Thank You,Brian *** The Tire Warehouse

I knew their response would be to refute any claims I made regarding this matter, so I am not surprised in the least! What they claim to have happened is 100% untrue! If that were the case why would I be going through all the trouble to report what happened? I don't know any of these people personally, I have no vendetta against them, nor do I have anything to gain in doing this. I do however want people to know what they tried to do to me, and to be aware when dealing with this businessIf what I am doing protects even one person from going through what I did, then it is all worth it!
Regards,

I 100% believe the emergency brake was broken by an employee of Tire Warehouse, why would there be a wire tie on part of it , how would that get there? I trust that the new mechanic would be able to tell the difference between rusting away and being broken and removed. As far as the inspection goes, unfortunately I made the mistake of also having the vehicle inspected at Tire Warehouse, so would they really call themselves out on their own mistake? Also, I did not have several opportunities to have my car serviced, I called and they refused to make me an appointment even though I had an issue, I stopped in and was treated rudely and told I would have to wait 45 minutes, not possible on my lunch break. Stopped in to the Clifton Park location, and was told again that I would have to wait, not possible to wait with my 2 year son with me.I did not have to wait elsewhere, the new mechanic was prompt, professional and courteous unlike anyone I encountered at Tire Warehouse. My issue is less about getting my bill paid and more about the safety issue this may have posed for myself, my son or anyone else on the road.I placed several phone calls and sent several emails to which I never received a response. The last time I spoke to Brian M[redacted] he was supposed to speak to the owner of Tire Warehouse and get back to me, that never happened.  I am not the only one who has had issues with this business and I'm sure I won't be the last. I will surely tell anyone and everyone who will listen not to go there for any type of service. Rude, sloppy, incompetent mechanics with absolutely no customer service skills.

We have reviewed the information provided in the complaint. However the facts to do support the claim. The vehicle passed a New York State inspection two months after the initial brake work was completed.  Part of a New York State inspection is to make sure the emergency brakes work and...

function as designed which it did to pass the inspection on November 12th 2014. Now almost 10 months after we did the work a noise developed. A lot can happen in 8 months from the inspection date and any mechanic with good experience would agree it is not uncommon for rear break hardware to rust, deteriorate and literally fall apart. We did not cause the ebrake to fall apart 10 months after we did the initial brake service.  The customer had several opportunities to bring her vehicle in for service she could not wait while we looked it over so she left. How ever she found time to wait elsewhere and is trying to get us to pay her bill, which we have no obligation or liability to. Thank you,Brian M[redacted]###-###-####
