I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #***I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as soon as I receive the amount in question.
Regards,

I just would like to reiterate that this is the most unfair dealing we have ever had in the forty years we have been in businessWe have never dealt with anything like this Any one having a function knows exactly what "the final count" means A final count is given for a reason; the reason, so we can prepare the right amount of food It is certainly not our fault that only people showed up when we were told We reduced it for Mr*** the day of his father's funeral from (our minimum) to It was not until a month later that he came back to reduce it to 44.
We will agree to pay Mr*** the money he is protesting; not because we believe he is right, but because we do not need bad publicity for something we don't deserve
At least we agree on one thing, we both feel that we have been wronged

When Mr. [redacted] booked The Tirrell Room after the death of his father, he was told there was a 85 person minimum.  When he pucame in to discuss the arrangements, he gave us a head count of 70. It is on our original work sheet. The funeral was held on 8.26.14, when they were leaving at the...

end of the day, he told us that the count was 65. Instead of aruging about the original 70, we produced a bill for 65 people.  Almost a month later, we received the email from him stating he only wanted to pay for 45 people.  It is common knowledge that a function facility buys the food, prepares the food and provide the number of servers for each individual function (all derived by the count of the customer).  In this case, we had prepared food for 70 (plus 5% incase more people show up-which happens more than it doesn't, but we only charge for the final count that we are given).
Mr. [redacted] only wants to pay for 45.  He spoke to me, I explained that we charge for the number of people the customer gives us, we have no way of knowing how many people will attend any event.
He was not happy with with my answers, so I gave him [redacted]'s email address.
I have attached the email she sent him back on October 8th.  She offered to split the difference, just to keep him happy.  Mr. [redacted] got charged for the less than the amount of people he told us to expect.
If you have any questions, you can reach out to me or to [redacted].
I have never attached anything to a complaint (I am not sure we have ever gotten one, so please let me know if you don't get this.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #[redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.
Having read the response from The Tirrell Room representatives, on behalf of my brother and sister, I must say that we reject the assertion made by Ms. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] and have documentation that indicates information contrary to their response. Note that we are not the type of people who look to create issues such as these and quite frankly this is the first time I / we have gone to such lengths. We feel very strongly about being wronged here. Dealing with the passing of our father was heart wrenching enough, but to now add this layer of turmoil caused by these folks makes things all the more difficult. Note that if we do not have this resolved through the Revdex.com mechanism, we will then pursue it through legal channels and will without question, contact the media. I would like to think that sound business says to resolve it as that will cost The Tirrell Room much less than a protracted legal battle not to mention the negative fall out that poor press will cause.
Regards,
[redacted]
