We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the customer’s complaint. However, due to HIPPA regulations we are unable to respond with specifics regarding the care/communication involving a patient and his/her family. Based on review of our records the
consumer has not exercised his rights under the complaint resolution process provided by the hospital to all patients and their families. We will initiate the complaint resolution process on behalf of the consumer and respond in writing directly to the consumer within days of this email. On behalf of the hospital, and its employees, we take complaints seriously and encourage our patients and/or family members to exercise their rights through our Patient Advocate Complaint Process.
