Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because first off *** (general manager) has NEVER BEEN TO OUR HOME, the chairs were delivered by Hispanics that basically delivered and leftWe did not receive any type of briefing at the time of purchase or deliveryIf someone were to brief me on the fact that the chair tips over, we would not have selected those chairs After we repeatedly reported the issues (padding, stitching, leaning & tipping over) to *** over the phone, she told us to come in and re-select a new set of chairsUpon arriving at the store, *** was not supportive of us selecting new chairs and then tried to demonstrate that the chairs would not tip over *** proceeded to demonstrate in another rocker (not ours)and he did tip over and it scared the heck out of him! If he says it didn't, shame on himWe had to order these chairs because they were not available at the time of purchase and it took two months to get in (told it would be two weeks). The chair is still leaning, and it's not even a year old I can't imagine what they will look like in a few more monthsWe have been a loyal customer since having purchased multiple mattresses, beds, front loading washer and dryer, etc. PS - the photo they submitted is not our furnitureThey sent a picture of a sofa and we purchased recliners costing approx$plus tax for each, etc. Regards,*** ***

mechanism of the rocker recliner, and its functions by our delivery personal. This is a standard procedure.Due to the fact that Ms. [redacted] was still displeased we decided that we would bring back the chair for further inspection. After multiple associates; Sales and general manager included, gave a full inspection of the base and mechanism to the rocker recliner the conclusion was set that nothing was wrong.On the complaint of the stitching on the seat and back of recliner;As you can see by the pictures attached, the stitching is going to be different on all makes of models of upholstered merchandise. The pictures shown are of new makes and models, and also the actual set in which she purchased on our showroom floor. Do keep in mind that this is a recliner and once the chair is reclined the stitching is not going to line up. Also, once any chair is sat in and utilized the cushions and stuffing will start to form and shift to the individuals sitting position, causing the stitching to not line up. This is not a defect as it is being portrayed; it is normal wear with any type of furniture. [redacted] After delivering Ms. [redacted]s rocker recliner, some days later [redacted] (damage control) received a call stating that she was reaching across an end table for a toothpick when she felt the rocker recliner start to lean to that side. [redacted] set up a service call, and we sent a service man and our General Manager ([redacted]) to her home. The men explained to her that you could not sit on one side of the rocker and lean to that side, as all of her weight would be distributed to the side in which she was leaning. [redacted] gave her an example of the same scenario by replicating Ms. [redacted]’s complaint on her recliner. By sitting in the same position, and leaning across said end table. [redacted] was able to demonstrate why her rocker recliner was leaning. Once he adjusted his weight to the middle of the recliner, tipping over was no longer an issue. After the demonstration, Ms. [redacted] was still not satisfied with the explanation given, and was convinced that something was wrong with the base of her rocker recliner.[redacted]
