Review: I had TransClinic rebuild my transmission a few years ago. A week after delivery of the vehicle they requested that I bring it in so that they could check and make sure everything is still working fine. I mentioned to them that I thought that there was a leak where the transmission cooling lines attached to the radiator. They said that they had checked it already and that there was no leak so I took the vehicle and drove home. About five months later the transmission begins slipping an I bring it back to TransClinic and have them take a look. They begin repairs on it immediately without calling me or informing me what is going on. I call them a few days later and they said that they were halfway through rebuilding my transmission, and that I was lucky that it would be covered under warranty because the line going to my radiator was loose. I explained to them that I asked them to check it at my week check up and they said the line was tight. I do not know if they actually checked the line or not at that time. When I returned to their shop to take delivery of the vehicle after the repairs, they charged me with labor that was done to my front differential. I was unaware of this until I came to pick up the vehicle and the charges for the differential were around $300. They did not provide an estimate for that nor did I authorize work on the differential. I shrugged it off because I was grateful that they rebuilt my transmission under warranty. Since two weeks ago my transmission is having problems again. It is slipping and may have sprung a leak. I have completely stopped driving the vehicle and it is now parked in my driveway. I am upset that I spent upwards of $2800 on this transmission and it is still having problems in less than 3 years. I expect a higher quality of workmanship and professionalism for the amount of money I have spent.Desired Settlement: I would like my transmission repaired, replaced, or my money refunded. There is no reason why my transmission should be having problems this early. I regularly maintain the vehicle and take care of it properly. Failure of the transmission should not be blamed on customer negligence or improper maintenance.
