I would NOT recommend this companyYou will not get your order on time, or at allIt's been over two months and my item and not even been shipped and they are now ignoring my emailsThey do not offer exchanges or returns (even for damaged items) either so there is NO WAY to get your money backBUY SOMEWHERE ELSE, do your research, negative remarks are all over their social media!

It has been three weeks, and the company is finally shipping out the product tomorrowI contacted them a week ago because I am travelling out of the country later this week and would like to know the status of my orderThe person who responded said that they would have the product out by Monday of this weekThe second person who responded said that they would ship it out Thursday of this weekThis is very frustratingTherefore, I have to have a friend or neighbor to retrieve my package once delivered, and I will not be able to enjoy the productIn addition, their confirmation emails do not mention anything about delays, which is now included on their homescreen of their websiteI wanted to support a smaller business by purchasing this productUnfortunately, it is appearing that I should have gone to a bigger company with more selection

I placed 2 orders with The Treasures Box. The 1st was for an acrylic makeup organizer and a jewelry organizer, totaling over $140. Luckily, I paid through PayPal. This "business's" policy is that it takes 3 weeks, business days of monday through friday to ship out your order. While I thought that was very odd, it was on their instagram page and my order confirmation email as well, so I let it slide. When it was time to ship my item I got an email from PayPal and USPS with a tracking number for my shipment. A few days later I checked the tracking info to find out there was no movement on the package, just that the label was created on the day I received the tracking info email. So I tried emailing the company and got no response. The next day after still no response, I re-sent the same email and got a response. They apologized for the inconvenience, gave me a new tracking number, said they would refund the shipping back to my PayPal account and my order would ship out by that coming weekend. I was appeased for the moment. That weekend came and went, no movement on the new tracking number, no refund on the shipping. I called PayPal this time. I still wanted the items in my order so I didn't start a dispute at this point in time with the "business" and PayPal, but they responded rather quickly to PayPal's email. They issued yet another tracking number and emailed me with it saying it would be shipped out by the weekend, but the date on this email for the shipment caught my attention because the date it was set to ship out fell on a sunday. And when I tried to email them about it asking about it, I got no response. And by this time, I got fed up with the scam this so-called "business" was trying to run. I called PayPal again after The Treasures Box didn't return yet another email of mine (and I never got that shipping cost refund by the way that they promised), and told PayPal that this business is definitely running a scam. They are making it seem like they are going to ship the product by providing a tracking number or two or three but they never intend on shipping the order because there are no items to ship. They keep giving the runaround to innocent people and taking their money, hoping that either the buyer will forget about their order in that 3 business week timeframe they have to wait for them to even ship the order or just hope that they pull a fast one and not get caught. PayPal gladly refunded my full amount including the shipping. And miraculously, The Treasures Box came out of the woodwork and emailed me RIGHT AFTER they received the email from PayPal explaining that the dispute between us was decided in MY favor and I got a full refund. And they said they were shipping my other order out to me, which I regretfully wish I never placed. PayPal said because they agreed to ship it, they couldn't refund me but I could refuse the shipment if I was home when it was delivered. But not surprisingly, The Treasures Box pulled the same exact shadiness with this order too. I had to call PayPal a week later to find out what was going on with this order because the "business" never emailed me the tracking number. They did, however, provide the tracking info to PayPal and PayPal discovered that there was no movement on that shipment, just that a label was created. PayPal decided that dispute in my favor as well.
This so-called "business" The Treasures Box in Washington DC is the worst business I have ever purchased anything from. I am just extremely thankful I purchased through PayPal and that PayPal had my back, so-to-speak. I hope PayPal terminates business with them so they can no longer operate in this world as a small business. The Treasures Box has no idea how to run a business, handle customer service, manage their time as a business owner and/or employee of that business, process refunds, and that is giving them the benefit of the doubt that they are, in fact, a legitimate business. I have no reason to think they are anything other than want-to-be scam artists and failures at that because they didn't get away with it. This "business" did not resolve any of the issues I went to them with; I had to go to PayPal for resolution of my issues. Thank goodness for PayPal! The Treasures Box didn't even try to resolve any of the issues; they just kept issuing bogus tracking numbers and only responded to emails when they felt they absolutely had to; they didn't care that one of their customers was unhappy because of something THEY messed up and that they weren't even trying to remedy the situation they created. And I could very well be wasting my time and energy writing this because I strongly feel that this is not a legitimate "business", I just want others to know what I experienced so they don't ever deal with these people/"business". Please do NOT purchase anything from The Treasures Box based out of Washington, DC. Hopefully PayPal drops them so they are put out of "business" and nobody has to go through the month and half debacle that I went through.
