Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:? The Trout Shop owner, Jerry L [redacted] , originally sent me his “agreement form” for his services before the start of the rental season and suggested that I make edits to the document if I was not in agreement with its entirety? I submitted the document to my attorney and ? several edits were made to the document and was submitted back to Jerry for approval? The changes were recommended by my attorney as the original agreement was written in favor of The Trout Shop and did not represent an equitable agreement? Jerry never responded to the revised agreement and we went forward with only a verbal agreement for the rental season of as well as into the season? The rental agreement was mentioned several times but Jerry failed to respond either verbally or written to the revision.My partner and I met with Jerry in December, to discuss the rental season as his business had continued to secure bookings for our rentals with no change in the verbal agreement from the prior year? No discussion was addressed to the fact that we had a verbal rather than written agreement to date and business was to continue going forward.in February,2018, without notice and cause, Jerry removed our listings from his website? I was headed out of country for two weeks at the time and had I not looked at his website would not have discovered the impropriety until my return? Upon repeated attempts to contact Jerry, he finally sent an email to inform me of his resignation as our listing agent as well as his intent to rebook all reservations to other rentals, a very egregious and unethical decision on his part.? I am very happy to be rid of my business association with The Trout Shop, but simply want to register this complaint for the failure of The Trout Shop to honor the verbal agreement to the date of resignation of the rental reservations made and on the books at time of resignation? Instead they were all rebooked.In summary, no we did not have a written agreement, only a verbal one, but an agreement nonetheless? Unfortunately, verbal agreements rely upon integrity of the businss and person making them? It is no surprise that The Trout Shop is not a Revdex.com member Sincerely, [redacted]
