Refuses to remove me from his email distribution
Please remove me from your email distribution. I’ve tried since 2018 to request you to remove me but to no avail. Even after referencing the CAN-SPAM ACT, you’ve continued to ignore my requests. You’ve ignored my messages. Please remove me. It’s as if he’s bullying me by continuing to message me although I’ve requested MANY times for him to remove me.

Very unprofessional. These reviews are disappointing. I did pay for service one time and thank God I didn’t continue. I hope you all receive your money back.

Zero communication, poor service
I signed up for 39.95 per month. They deducted that every fortnight so I was paying double. I wasn't able to log in to my account for months, contacted them numerous times with no response at all. It's been 6 months and I still can't log in, they're charging me for 2 subscriptions even though I have 1 and only 1 project.
I think these guys just get people to "review" a pitch so it gets logged as reviews to get your hopes up. I had better success just pitching it directly through an agent.

Very poor service
I submitted several TV series pitches. I upgraded one to their 'premium service' and it got 1 review from a production company. I then upgraded the other project and they took my money but did not upgrade the listing! I tried several times to email but have had no reply. I have now cancelled my subscription. They promise a lot bit deliver little, I would not recommend.

This is sad, very poor communication. A producer should be making money on the back end after a deal is done. This is also associated to the sister company IndiePitch.TV. Be careful. I was tricked into paying for a one time membership. Even after frequent emails, very poor communication. This is very upsetting. a 19th century website in the 21st century. Videos and emails are now like decades old of recycled material. Really uncool.

Pitching shows is a subjective process, and I'm pleased to have enjoyed the service. It's clear there's more than a few competitors submitting bogus reviews. The site has a support system for direct guidance and solutions. There's no better way to break new projects, though most of the site's success has been unscripted genres. Highly recommend.

+2

Do not use this service! My account was renewed and they took my money, but did not update the active date on my listing. I made 3 attempts to find out why this was happening, no reply. BUT I got several emails trying to upgrade me or sell me more products. I have asked around and none of my contacts in the business have ever heard of this company. Save your money!

I PUT MY HARD HONEST WORK ON THIS SITE AND GOT SEVERAL REVIEWS BUT NO SALE ,SO I DECIDED TO HAVE SCOTT POLISH MY TV SCRIPT .NOW AM NOT EVEN ABLE TO LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT HE EMAILED BACK SAID HE WAS GOING TO FIX IT AND NOTHING HAS HAPPENED IN TWO MONTHS .

+2

My project got accepted and submitted a week ago. I have tried to email Scott and he does not write me back or help at all.. I would like to know how my project has been up for a few weeks and no reviews yet and when I want help I get ignored. This website sucks.

+3

I have had multiple company reviews of my pitch after just a short while of uploading my script onto this site. In addition, Scott just personally polished my script and did an absolutely amazing job. He obviously knows exactly what executives are looking for, and edited my script to match their preferences superbly. I couldn't have done it without his help. I am excited to see what the future holds. So glad that I took a chance and trusted my idea to Scott!

TV Writers Vault has been the best source of information as I’ve developed several projects. I like getting proof of review when a producer views my pitch. Good platform with good companies scouting.

Thank you, Ms.!
We're glad you like the articles and the connections.
Have a great new year!

I have only read (several) reviews about the company and have not used them myself.
It is not the reviews that are stopping me... It's the fact that I can't believe someone is an "expert" but only has 1 listed credit on IMDb.
Maybe they're real, maybe they're not.... Whatever you choose to do, always perform due diligence before handing over your rent money.

TOTAL SCAM! I hired Scott Manville to professionally write several pitch synopsis for my screenplays through the TV WRITER'S VAULT. After five months he has never delivered a word, only excuses of why he could not start the job. The job required a hefty deposit to get started, and to date, he has only returned a small fraction of my deposit. My advice is to stay away from this scam.

I sold 3 tv ideas.....!!! Yes 3! Where can you spend so little money and not have to be on the phone all day selling your idea? Where? Scott Manville saved my entertainment life!

The TV Writers Vault has been the only industry platform to get my projects into play. I’m in one option deal with a mid level company and have had almost a dozen reviews of my work by others. I like how their system provides proof of review which you can’t get in the traditional process of pitching. Client support is getting better, as expected after some growing pains they may have had. Great pro advice from Scott ***.

I recently paid to have TV Writers Vault (Scott) help me write a script for my docuseries. It was $1000 upfront. The communication at first (when he hadn't received my money yet) was fast. I paid, and then the excuses started rolling in. I heard everything under the stars as to why he couldn't handle my business. In the end, he started to attack my character personally saying I was unempathetic and that I didn't understand. This was business, and I wasn't receiving ANY of the services I had paid for. He offered a refund which he ended up not paying me for (he said he refunded it which was a lie as well ...!) I reached out to him on several occasions and never received a refund. WARNING: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY OR SCOTT ... YOU'LL NOT RECEIVE THE SERVICE AND BE OUT YOUR MONEY. I have all the emails on file from Scott. Buyer beware ... you've been warned.

That's odd, seeing as I have a receipt for the purchase.

I have a receipt for the purchase. This was not for a membership but a script writing as noted in the first comment. This was a one time only charge. Convenient how you can't "find the user" when someone calls you out on your poor business practice. This revew along with others will only state my case and make you look like a fool. I'm more than happy to provide anyone the emails that you submitted along with a receipt of my purchase. You conduct business just a sloppy as you cover your paper trail. Good luck.

This is my second review on this site and will I will no longer submit projects to the TV Writers Vault. I submitted a new paid project on February 7th. The projects are suppose to upload in 24 hours. I am within my membership and it is not visible. I emailed several times only to be ignored. I'm a fair person and will give the benefit of the doubt but when it doesn't seem right then that's what it is. I will not recommend anyone to this site and will be doing a scam report following this review.BUYERS BEWARE..... DO NOT INVEST IN THIS SITE.

Hello Ms. Scurry-
We apologize for the delay in activating your most recent listing.
We just responded to your support ticket with resolution and hope that you can let us know of anything additional we can do for you. We appreciate you as a client, and again apologize for the delay in processing which was for one of your additional projects.

The TV Writers Vault Response • Feb 23, 2019

We have reached out with detailed solutions and information requests and have received no response.

Customer Response • Feb 23, 2019

I have received your responses and will not be using the services anymore. I would like all of my projects removed from your database and an email showing proof of such actions. I find it funny that I received an email from the Revdex.com stating that I had no dealings with such business but lucky for me I keep receipts of everything I do. And that is mainly why I haven't responded. You guys are a bunch of crooks praying on people's dreams. I hope you can sleep at night.

Customer Response • Feb 27, 2019

I find it funny you say that you reached out to me in your last response yet in the same breath you say I had no dealings with your company. Nice try. Keep digging a hole for yourself. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY.

I have pitched three programs through writers vault. All have received solid reviews and serious interest in two of the shows. TV Writers Vault is the real deal. There is no guarantee that they can sell you show; however, the definitely have the production executives that seriously review submitted ideas.

It usually takes about 24-48 hours for the premium upgrade to appear and about 24 hours for the project to appear. But, that is not a negative, it's just the nature of the web site.

I HIGHLY recommend this site for those wanting to pitch a show.

Dennis / Tampa

I spent three years trying to connect my pitches with producers... Scott Manville gave me solid advice and his site brought three companies to my project. They deserve a good review, so much thanks to tvwritersvault.com!

I’ve been a client of the TV Writers Vault off and on for the past three years. The biggest value for me isn’t just the connections I’ve made pitching my scripts and Ideas for TV shows, but the open and free professional insight they provide in their articles that have shaped the way I approach my craft, screenwriting and cooking up clever ideas for new TV series. I use it to pitch shows and as an added marketing tool in addition to networking at industry conferences like Realscreen or Natpe. Their customer support is always great.

The TV Writers Vault opened up the gates of opportunity for this struggling screenwriter. I've pitched six projects, and made three solid connections with executives. Scott Manville (the owner, and a producer) is always very helpful providing guidance. This is a tough industry to make progress in, and I appreciate the TV Writers Vault platform making the impossible possible.
