Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2015/07/15) */
[redacted] signed up for our event under the name Chocolates & Spice and later after signing up changed her Company name to Bon Sweets. Their was an internal error where the new Company name "Bon Sweets" was not changed in our system. This had no...

effect on the duties that we carried out in the Exhibitor Contract and I'll explain why.
First of all, [redacted]'s Company name was limited to the tent card on her table. We don't print up Program guides or provide a vendor list on our website. The Company name displayed on [redacted]'s table was a tent card (4 1/4" x 11") which is used for vendors to find their location in the event and not as signage for the public to find the vendor. [redacted] did find her tabletop and displayed her wares in the event. Vendors should have their own signage (Banners, large signs etc).
Secondly, Facebook has nothing to do with the contract that [redacted] signed. [redacted] was supplied with a table in the event and that is the promise that was executed from the Exhibitor Contract she signed. There was no guarantee in the Exhibitor Contract that [redacted]'s company would receive a Facebook campaign. If the Facebook post stated her old Company than she didn't benefit from it nor can she claim we didn't fulfill our obligation because it wasn't part of the agreement between her business and our business.
Thirdly, [redacted] is so caught up in trying to obtain a refund for services provided that she doesn't even understand that quoting part of our contract solidifies our exact argument and I will quote from the same part of the contract:
25. ENTIRE CONTRACT - This instrument contains the entire Contract between the parties relating to the subject matter hereof. The parties have made no contracts, representations or warranties,
relating to the subject matter hereof which are not set forth herein. No modification of this Contract shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by the parties hereto.
In simple terms, a contract is a contract and everything else is hearsay. We promised her a tabletop in the event and she occupied that tabletop. There are no other promises or agreements beyond the scope of the contract.
Our staff has been producing events for 26 years across North America with millions of people in attendance over the years and over half million booths sold into various expos. We will always respond fairly if we have not fulfilled our obligations.
The fact is [redacted] did exhibit in the event and was there throughout the event. She spoke to a lot of people in the show.

While we don't feel [redacted]'s name change affected her in anyway we offered her a discount on a future event. Then [redacted] started posting disparaging remarks and lies about our Company (not in her complaint to the Revdex.com) and we have since retracted that offer. In addition, we have no interest in doing business with her companies.
We do business with hundreds of Companies annually and don't have these type of issues with any other businesses. In fact, a good protion of our clients do our shows again and again and again.
[redacted] is in the chocolate business and I'm sure if someone eats her Chocolate she would reasonably want to get paid. We're no different. We work hard and provided the product and feel its reasonable for us to get paid.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/07/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It is my belief that a company's name is everything as it defines to the public what the company does and allows for well positioned branding along with the correct contact information.
While Shael talks about hearsay, there was a verbal and written confirmation that a name change was made but never updated. I have been specifically instructed by Shael not to share any correspondence from him, so I am unable to specifically post or share that email.
I would expect if I made the wrong flavor truffles, my client would be due a refund in full or to some degree. Similarly, the wrong name was printed along with the wrong contact information, so yes I do believe some level of refund is due.
I have been in the food industry business for a very long time and if an order was incorrect, I would do the right thing and attempt to make my client satisfied.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2015/07/27) */
We are all about customer service. Our staff has 26 years of show producing experience with hundreds of shows produced and we've always taken the position that any client whether it is an attendee or vendor is equally important and we are available for all comments. Some of our best ideas in our events actually have come from client feedback - so we encourage it.
We would issue a refund if it was a reasonable request but it isn't. Like most businesses we expect to get paid for the services we provide. The services were rendered, the client benefited from those services by having a tabletop in the event and marketed her services to the attendees at the event; no refund is due.
Her name change had no impact on her ability to market in the event whatsoever. The attendees had no idea who she was and what she had until they spoke to her at her tabletop and she introduced herself, her company and her product line. She marketed like everyone else did in the event.
This would be like going to a restaurant and eating the entire meal and afterwards saying I want a refund. She ate the entire meal, enjoyed it and benefited from it. No refund is due.
