This is in response to the complaint Mr [redacted] submittedOur company picked up Mrand Mrs [redacted] belongings on the 30th of SeptemberWe did inform Mr [redacted] when we did the in-home estimate that if they were ready to receive their belongings after pick-up, that we would have them on the first truck out to AL, and delivery would take 5-business daysHowever, due to one of our trucks breaking down, we had to wait until it was finished being fixed in order to send out the [redacted] shipmentWe did call Mr [redacted] and explain this to himAt the end of that week, Friday, Mrs [redacted] had called our office and spoke with one of our reps, she had asked the rep if her shipment went out yet, because they were thinking of changing their destination back to NY, that the plans had changed and they were not sure about moving down to ALThe reptold Mrs [redacted] that no the shipment had not been sent out yet and that I (the office manager) would call her the following dayI had spoke to Mrs [redacted] the following day to inform her that she shipment was due to be sent out that week and she informed me they were not ready, that their situation had changed and they might be moving back to NYCMrs [redacted] told me she would call me that week to let me know what they were going to doI spoke with them again on Tuesday informing them that if they wanted the shipment to be sent out that we would need to know as soon as possibleThey asked me if there would be any change in the price since they were not moving all the way down to AL, and I told them in our tariff it states that we do not change the price if the customer changes destination after the pihad already happenWe did however give them a discount on the price and deducted $off the balance that was due.It is completely for Mr [redacted] to say that we were not in contact with them, when we spoke on the phone almost everydayIt is for Mr [redacted] to say that we were the ones who did not hold up our end when in fact they were not even sure where they wanted their stuff to be deliveredThey did not let us know of where their stuff would be delivered until the day I called to inform Mrand Mrs [redacted] that their stuff would be loaded that night and that I needed to know where they wanted their belongings to goThey then told me not to put the stuff on the truck that they were coming back to NYC and would like the stuff to be delivered to a storageMrs [redacted] emailed me the next day with an address as to where she wanted her belongings to be deliveredWe delivered them that Saturday to a storage in NY I do have phone records and emils to support the fact that we were in contact with the [redacted] almost everyday.If any further information is needed, please do not hesitate to let me knowThank you

I am rejecting this response because: While the company has changed their claims company, there is still no resolution to my complaintI have filled out the required claim forms and submitted them once again The only resolution is to be reimbursed the full amount for the damages caused by the moving company

This company shouldn't be allowed to conduct businessThey either lost, broke or destroyed most of our thingsEverything was broken, cracked or unusable including valuable antiquesSome boxes were missing completely and the furniture that was delivered was damaged, some beyond repairTo make things worse, they put a big hole in the wall of our new home while moving a piece of furniture into the bedroomTheir coverage on claims is ridiculous - they cover no where near the value of what they destroyedSo, in the end we paid them almost $7,to move our things, then we paid several thousand more to replace them and then many hundreds to haul away the trash from what they ruined
