The Uniform Place

Review: Today, October 29, 2015, I purchased a Littmann Classic III stethoscope from The Uniform Place in Johnstown, PA. While looking at stethoscopes, I noticed that this one was marked $99.99 both on the box and on a paper tag on the stethoscope itself. After deciding that was the stethoscope I wanted, I took it over to the register to pay. The cashier rang it up and told me the total was $130. After paying with a credit card, I realized on my receipt that the stethoscope rang up as $119.99 instead of the $99.99 as advertised on the box. I returned the register and told the cashier about the error in pricing. She proceeded to call a coworker over and told her what had happened. The second woman then called someone on the phone and told her what style and brand of stethoscope it was and that it had been priced wrong. After hanging up the phone, the second woman tells me that it HAS to be sold for the $119.99 instead of the price it was marked. The original cashier then takes out a pricing gun and makes and places new price tags over the original ones. She says this is in case I have to return it for any reason. I still purchased the product but am extremely upset that their pricing error cost me 20.00 plus tax!Desired Settlement: I would like for my credit card to be refunded for the difference between the two prices.
