Terrible experience, service, customer careOn September 25th I had to get important documents concerning a relatives death to a co-trustee in Sunnyvale CaliforniaI chose UPSWorst mistake I could have madeI was charged $to have the documents motorized and $to have the documents shipped to Sunnyvale within weekOn September 28th the Co-Trustee had not received the documentsI tracked the shipment and saw the package was missing/damaged with the following remarks - will notify the sender - We're investigating the damage claimNO one notified meI went to the UPS store and Hamid, the boss, told me they could not help because they were not responsible because they were family owned and not UPS(Even though the sign on the front of the store said "The UPS Store.") Hamid told me I would have to take my complaint to Corporate UPSThe UPS Store Notary Notarized another copy of the documents to replace the ones they had lost and wanted me to feel good about the fact they were not going to charge me for this second document Notary!! They also wanted to recharge me for shipping a second package to Sunnyvale to which I said No, I would take it to FedExFedEx got the documents to Sunnyvale the next day
I contacted the Corporate UPS and explained the problemOn October 10th, Corporate UPS Customer Service, Jessica R, replied saying a claim was approvedA check should arrive at the store in daysOctober 20th, No one at the Store where Hamid is the boss notified meI went to the store today, October 24th, to get my reimbursement and was reminded they are not UPSThey took my address and said they would mail $to me

Review: I have a huge issue with delivery of mu package, tracking number: [redacted]. On June 5th, 2015, in the morning, I left a package in the UPS Store and paid it to be delivered on June 9th. On June 9th the package was not delivered. The tracking number didn't show any changing of the status of shipping. It said that a shipping label is created and ready for UPS. I went to the UPS store in the morning of 06/09 and the employee assured the package has been sent. Then they called to UPS customer service and informed me that the package is in Ukraine already and is at custom clearance and scheduled for delivery on June 10th (which would have been a June 9th in Ukraine - the delivery address). Today, on June 10 the package was not delivered. I checked the tracking number and saw that the package is in transit, that it was picked up by UPS yesterday at 6:32PM from the UPS Store and that it scheduled for delivery on Friday 06/12! So all this time UPS Store employees were misleading me and lied to me. And in the end I called the UPS Store today on 06/10 explaining the situation and asking for a refund, but employee said it is UPS fault (without providing any proof of that assertion) and said that they are not responsible for this issue.Desired Settlement: Full refund of the package shipping cost. I do not agree for a partial refund, because if I knew the quality of the service is so low, I would have done to another provider.
