I am rejecting this response because: While I accept your apology, your response is inadequatei do not believe customers would accept the analogy you presentedIf the expectation is relevant to unopened, single-type boxes then those should be readily available or the customer should be directed to find themThese bars were pre-opened boxes which lends itself to customer choiceWith regard to your ten percent policy, your suggestion that customers would presume that other products could be mixed is an insult to my and other's intelligence

I want to apologize to the customer if he was in any way offended, as that was not our intention. We have policies in place that award 10% off to customers who purchase an entire case of an individual product. In this case, the customer was not purchasing a complete case, therefore the...

We strictly adhere to our policies so that we don't open the door for customers to purchase a mixed case of cookie, chips, etc. We do, on the other hand, have special discount days for seniors, gym members and for customer appreciation events. On these days 10% off is awarded. Part of our mission at Basic Foods is to "provide a staff committed to enriching a healthy lifestyle for all members of our community."
