December 2, 2016To Whom it may concern:I just received a letter with additional concerns about case [redacted] from [redacted] In the letter, Mr [redacted] states that a ladie's jacket and a necklace were missing from the cabinet he sent.I packed the item myself and can assure everyone that there was not anything in the cabinet as we check to make sure items are not inside that could roll around and damage the insideI am sorry for Mr [redacted] s loss and understand how he may feel about the itemsWe have been in business for over years and we do not take items out of customer's parcels.lf we did I would think we would have been out of business years agoI am deeply distressed that he thinks me or my staff would take an item out of a parcelI can guarantee that all the staff here is honest and forthrightWe always try to get the customer the best deal on shipping and packaging to save them money at the cost of our profits not being larger.Recently we saved an elderly woman from Iowa $that she was sending to a scam artistWe contacted the police and the scam mer was arrested and the woman did not lose her moneyWe pride ourselves on doing right by our community as we have an obligation to it as we are a part of it.Thank youJohn K [redacted] Owner

In response to John K's letter.I took and heirloom piece of furniture from my recently deceased wife, to ship to my son in Arizona It is the first time I used UPS for shipping.I am years old and any prospect of my shipping anything UPS Fed EX or USPS are just about nil So a $store credit is useless to me.What I did not mention, in the drawer of the cabinet were a ladies jacket and necklace for my Grand daughter I did not include them on my complaint because I didn't think they would disappear, which they did I know insurance was included on the order but not listing them was my mistake All I want is a cash settlement equal to the difference of the estimate vsactual shipping charge.He is willing to give a store credit because he knows I'll never use it It would end up with my recyclables.No thank you John K___owner

To whom it may concem:When Mr*** came back to our store on 08/19/I explained to him when a parcel comes in and we need to pack it, the cost for the shipping is estimated as we might have to pack it in a bigger container or smaller.We have years of experience but sometimes we are
not 100% right on our estimates. His parcel ended up being smaller than anticipated and therefore the shipping was less. It is not our policy to refund shipping as sometimes the parcel is larger and we do not call the customer up and ask for more money, we absorb the cost. I discounted Mr*** $on the packaging as I tried to keep the cost of packing and shipping low for himIt was a custom pack job and a large heavy item which took twopeople to pack. I am sorry Mr*** feels that we have wronged him in any way. We have been in business for over years and this is the first time we have been notified by the Revdex.com as to a complaint as far as I know. I will gladly give Mr*** an in store credit for shipping only to make amends I will send him the credit as soon as possible.I hope this will satisfy him.Sincerely,JohnKOwner
