information. However, it is the responsibility of the customer to declare a value of an item at the time of the shipment. Obviously, items can range from little to no value all the way to $50,000. The cost for a high value item is more than one of little or no value. We apologize for any misunderstanding in this instance. If the customer can provide a tracking number we can assist him/her further.
Review: I paid for the delivery of an item valued at $250.00 to this UPS store. The clerk asked, specifically, the contents of the package which was jewelry. After inquiring about the contents, the clerk did not fully disclose to me the UPS claims procedure. The item was lost and never left this UPS store. A claim was filed according to the directions of UPS. Although I presented the receipt for this item, I was offered only $100.00 refund. I disputed the amount of the reimbursement to no avail. I was told I would receive a check in the amount of $100.00. When the refund was made available to me, it was offered in cash in the amount of $104.00. I believe that I have been mislead and should receive a full refund for my lost or stolen item.Desired Settlement: Full refund for my lost/ stolen item.
