The UPS Store #4532

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:This feels like more of the same runaround I've been getting all along.  UPS saying it was improperly returned to sender and you, The UPS Store, say that when you talk to UPS they say there's no refund and you will not give back the money I gave you.  UPS representatives, including a manager, confirmed to me on three separate occasions that the package was improperly returned to sender which was against company policy and to go to you (the place where I originally gave my money) for a refund.  At which point you say that when you check everyone did their job, you will not issue a refund.  In regards to the specific details of the case you brought up, UPS informed me my friend did request a sameday will call but then CANCELED it that same day so that even though another delivery was attempted and failed they assured me that the package should have been held for five business days since the sameday will call was canceled.  I am very tired of this runaround.  I find it very poor customer service that I am constantly being told one thing by UPS and another by you the UPS store.  You do not make it clear at all to the customer at the outset that you are two separate companies that have some sort of licensing agreement.  Since you have the same logos on the front of the store and on your employee uniforms the customer goes into a transaction thinking that if there is a snafuu that since it appears UPS and the UPS store are one in the same that you will not be told one thing by UPS and another by the UPS store.  This is very disingenuous to the customer.  Honestly, if you had the same exact experience I had in this situation, would you think you received good customer service?You are incorrect to claim that you have called and "offered a store credit of $40."  I received a voicemail (which I still have) from one of your employees saying that you would not give a refund but  that if I come back again I would receive a "discount."  There was no mention of a store credit of $40.  However, I am not interested in store credit.  This is more about voicing my account of receiving such poor customer service and being told one thing by UPS and a different thing by you, The UPS Store, multiple times.  I refuse to waste any more of my time by going into the store and getting more of the runaround. Sincerely,[redacted]
