Business states that the letter for this customer was handled according to...

business procedures that have been followed for the last 12 years. There is no reason for this customer to believe his letter was singled out. The letters are placed in a bin and handled accordingly. Unfortunately, there is no way of tracing the delivery in the manner it was sent.

Review: This UPS store refuses to refund the shipping fee for a package which was delivered to the wrong address by UPS. This UPS Store refuses to refund the shipping fee for a package that was delivered to the wrong location by UPS. This package was meant to be delivered to a residence and was instead delivered to a Home Depot store. UPS Corporate has already advised this store to provide a refund and the store refuses to refund the shipping fee. We have repeatedly attempted to obtain the shipping fee and they have refused to process the fee. This is against UPS policy and constitutes theft of services. Desired Settlement: This UPS store is liable for the refund of shipping fees. The UPS corporate office is not able to issue a refund because the UPS stores are independently owned and operated. A complaint has also been filed with UPS Retail Corporate.

Business' Initial Response

The item was deliver to home depot by UPS and then it was redeliver to the correct address. UPS therefore refused to pay the shipper's claim. A UPS service agent then suggest they might ask the UPS Store for their refund claim. We declined her claim as well for the same reason, Furthermore, we had no part in the initial miss delivery in the first place.

UPS Corporate apologized for the conduct of this store, and the corporate office is investigating the actions of this store regarding the refusal to refund the shipping. USE THIS STORE AT YOUR OWN RISK - THEY WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR PACKAGES.

Business' Final Response

We are just a UPS Store. If the main UPS say they will not issue a refund, we cannot issue a refund. The main UPS said that although the package was at first delivered to the wrong address (Home Depot), it was picked up by UPS and redelivered to the correct address the following day. This specific store does not do deliveries, we only help the customer ship out his/her package and then give it to the UPS driver, who would take it to another driver, and another driver till it gets to the destination. We are not liable for the misdelivery. We cannot issue the refund. The package has gotten to the correct address in the end.

Review: On 10/5/15, I went to The UPS Store to make 4 color copies from my personal flash drive on The UPS Store's copy machine. All UPS Stores have copy machines that make copies from flash drives. The UPS store supervisor said to me that I could not make color copies on his copy machine. So he made me use his computer to make my color copies. I did not want to use the computer. I did not know how to make copies from the computer and had to request help. After the supervisor helped me make my copies he charged me for 5 minutes on his computer. I was not told that I would be charged for both my copies and for computer use. But I was charged for both anyway.When I called [redacted] phone number at [redacted] about being overcharged, [redacted], the complaint supervisor, told me that the ups store supervisor had a right to charge me for computer use even though he had not told me that he would charge me and even though I did not want to use the computer in the first place. Monic refused to acknowledge that I could not use the copy machine for which it was intended for and that I did not want to use the computer in the first place.Desired Settlement: I deserved better customer service. And I deserve to be compensated for my time and money.

I am rejecting this response because: I did not want to use the computer in the first place. I have a reading disability, and I won't take responsibility for UPS's bad customer service. UPS is just coming up with excuses for charging me for a service that I did not want in the first place. Had supervisor told me that I would be charged for a service that I did not want, I would have refused. This is bad customer service on the UPS Store's part and the customer service's part.
