Review: The issue at hand had to do with a late or what is called by [redacted] a service failure. I had dropped off a package on 8/**/14 to be shipped from NY to CA, with an expected delivery ETA of 8/**/14. The package was somehow lost and sent to the lost and found area ([redacted]) of UPS. It was ultimately found and the package was delivered on 9/**/14. Close to 3 weeks later. The cost for the shipment was $150.00, and I also paid for packaging which cost $50.00. [redacted] has policy to refund the shipping charges when there was a service failure. I contacted the store of this, and the 1st reaction was, that if I got the package, I should be happy. I requested a refund, and was advised that they don't do that. I called the Main Customer Service Tel # of [redacted] ###-###-####, and also was not treated with the customer service I had expected, as they informed me I need to contact that local [redacted] Store in ** for a refund. I made several calls, and was advised that they would reimburse me approx $68.00. Which I found out later was there wholesale cost by UPS. [redacted] did reimburse the store, which is policy, which shows that they acknowledged to the local [redacted] Store of the service failure. The store is then responsible to reimburse the entire amount they had charged to me. So after several calls to the local [redacted] Store, finally getting the owner, he advised me that he would reimburse me the full amount of $150.00. This was over 4 weeks ago, and I have still not received any check or money order in the mail. I currently reside in California, so going to the store in person, isn't an option right now. They are not handling there business with respect and honesty.Desired Settlement: My desired and deserved outcome, is to be reimbursed the full amount of the cost of the shipping charges of $150.00. A cashiers check or postal money order would be acceptable and required.
