Hello, First, we’re happy to get on the phone with you at any time, and are unaware of any missed calls or methods of contact other than the present form. We do dispute your understanding of what you believe you were told by a prior manager; as what you are claiming is clearly against our policyThis policy is clearly stated in the lease agreement, which you have signedWe would be more than happy to provide you another copy of this and discuss any further questions from there. Unfortunately, we cannot void your lease agreement mid-term as it does end July 31, If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us directly at ###-###-####. Thank you, Verge Management

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
[redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the response. If the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered] The information that you were providing in this statement is contrary to other information that was given to me at the beginning of my lease. The fact that the Grove switched from one company to another and you are not honoring what I was told at the beginning of my lease is unfair to me. You have not tried to assist me, when I did try to contact you via phone to try and resolve this matter  you failed to return my phone calls. When I attempted to pay, your  representative said that I had to get the payment to you in person. This is also unfair is you are well aware that I live three hours away from the Grove.   You have been unwilling to work with me based on what prior management said, and you have been unprofessional and rude to my guarantor and me.   I signed a lease agreement and favorable consideration with the prior management, not with you. I also requested the number to your supervisor and so did my guarantor, but you have refused repeatedly to give it to either one of us. It is unfortunate that you believe because you put something in writing today that is contrary to what you have said to me  and to my guarantor that you believe this will resolve this issue. I need my credit and my guarantors credit to be clear. I am asking the Revdex.com to assist me in this matter because of your unfair practices.

Mr. [redacted], Thank you for your correspondence via your Revdex.com concern. wish. You are currently in a lease agreement which runs from August 2015 through July 31st of 2016. We understand that you are requesting to void this lease outright, which would mean breaking your contractual obligation and is not something that we allow within our policies. We have, however, offered information on how to complete a “Lease Takeover”, which is the only process through which you can remove the full obligation to your lease contract. I understand that you feel prior management gave you a verbal indication that there was some other process available to produce this same result, but per our policies, a Lease Takeover is the only way that a tenant may request to void their lease agreement, other than where stated by applicable law. If I can help explain this process or provide this paperwork to you, please feel free to reach out to me and I will be happy to do so. Relating to payments, you are welcome to pay via mail or in the office utilizing a check. Please contact me directly if I can provide any assistance in the Lease Takeover process, or information as to the best way to process payments. I am happy to help with this, and am here to be of service, but must abide by our policies relating to not simply voiding tenant leases due to lifestyle changes. Best Regards,Stephanie H[redacted]General Manager###-###-####
