Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. At no point did my husband nor myself state that the diamond pattern was not important to us, in fact, the order form that was sent by the Village Bake Shoppe clearly states that we wishes for our cake to be "VERY DETAILED"We received a picture from Mike via text message on Friday which was accompanied by no request for comments, I am more than willing to share my phone records to prove thisBy their own admission in the email correspondence (which I initially sent at 7:pm and received a response from them after midnight) they made an "executive decision" to deviate from our order and incorporate the color silver onto our cakeThis is the crux of our issue - our cake was deliberately and knowingly and admittedly changed from what we ordered without our knowledge or consent.? Regards, [redacted]

Good Afternoon,We have respectfully responded to both customers regarding this issue. We would like to address these issues based on bullet points and also hope you can see from the email correspondence I have attached that we in no way were rude or gave poor customer service. Coloring of cake:...

No where at anytime did [redacted] or [redacted] say they wanted blush accents. Her colors were Navy and Opal. The picture she provided has a totally different color scheme then what they wanted. Gold was not part of their day.Pictures sent to [redacted]: Spoke to [redacted] on Thursday after sending him preliminary picture of top tiers of cake. He informed us that he did not have confidence in us and would look for another bakery to make his wedding cake. I told him "we are making your cake", "you have paid for it" "but you have to do what ever is going to make your wedding day perfect". He then asked for me to send pictures the next day, Friday. which I did. I did have a question for him and also stated "please contact us". We did not hear from him. The issue we had was the opal color was not strong enough on the white fondant and was not showing up. We had a solution to make it more visible. Neither He or [redacted] responded until her friend called us on Mondaywith a list of complaints that were addressed. In the email when we raised that issue she replied back saying it wasn't during business and could not call us back. If you recall from the emails, we were corresponding early this morning at around 12:20am. We pride ourselves on giving incredible customer service. We are always here for out customers and want to make sure they are 100% satisfied with our work.Diamond Pattern: Both [redacted] and [redacted] both stated "we do not need the diamond pattern on the top tier" we complied with their instructions and did not put it on, however we received a complaint that it was not done.Throughout the correspondence email from this morning, which we answered even though it was 12:20am, [redacted] had stated she was seeking compensation. Yes, when we did not hear back from them we made an executive decision regarding the coloring of the cake to make the decorations visible. Please contact me with any questions or other concerns. I do have a full spread of email correspondence regarding this situation as I could not attach everything in forms above.Mike [redacted]
