The Riverview Grande cheated me out of what was suppose to be a full months rent I was looking for a place for my son to rent close to school They said if I would sign a lease they would give me the first month for free Since we did not need the apartment until August we took the deal However because of there being more than one person signing the lease it took about a week to collect all signatures, so the lease was dated the 8th of July I mentioned this and they told me that I will still receive a full month's rentI read the lease and didn't really notice that they were prorating my free month of rent and what that would do to that 4th week I did specifically ask if we would get credit for a full month and she said yesthinking that we would have the full year and only pay for months which is what getting a months free rent means, what I didn't catch on to is they added that week to the end of our contract and since they prorated the first month we were stuck paying for a week of rent that we did not want or need, over $ When I brought this to their attention in moving out they said I owed it because the first month had been proratedEven though I argued that we were given a full months free rent So we had to pay for an additional week That is just a scam on unsuspecting people Also they changed who was going to bill us for water and sent us a water bill that clearly shows they billed us twice for one month and they won't respond to calls or emails on it

The Riverview Grande cheated me out of what was suppose to be a full months rent. I was looking for a place for my son to rent close to school. They said if I would sign a lease they would give me the first month for free. Since we did not need the apartment until August we took the deal. However because of there being more than one person signing the lease it took about a week to collect all signatures, so the lease was dated the 8th of July. I mentioned this and they told me that I will still receive a full month's rent. I read the lease and didn't really notice that they were prorating my free month of rent and what that would do to that 4th week. I did specifically ask if we would get credit for a full month and she said yes. thinking that we would have the full year and only pay for 11 months which is what getting a months free rent means, what I didn't catch on to is they added that week to the end of our contract and since they prorated the first month we were stuck paying for a week of rent that we did not want or need, over $200 When I brought this to their attention in moving out they said I owed it because the first month had been prorated. Even though I argued that we were given a full months free rent. So we had to pay for an additional week. That is just a scam on unsuspecting people. Also they changed who was going to bill us for water and sent us a water bill that clearly shows they billed us twice for one month and they won't respond to calls or emails on it.
